Two cats live on property (Buddy & Braveheart) but probably wont impact on guests unless they are cat lovers!

We would like to welcome you to The Kalorama Windmill Barn. Set in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. The Barn is built as a Traditional American Style it is unique and furnished with relics of time gone by, it is comfortable, peaceful and tranquil place. Just 1hr from Melbourne. There are views of Silvan Dam which is only a 10 minute drive, Puffing Billy is within easy reach and also the famous William Ricketts Sanctuary. The many cafes, galleries and craft shops are only a short drive.

Just a few minute walk to the shops in town you have everything from cafes and restaurants to Aldi or Woolworths. The second room includes a small dining table and a sofa bed that we can make up for an additional guest or two. There is a fully functioning kitchen with breakfast ingredients supplied.

Our spacious 2-bedroom, self-contained guest suite, located directly behind our house, is a "home away from home." You will have your own private entrance, with a path leading up the side of the house to your front sliding door. The off-street parking is very convenient, and you will find all the comforts you need for an enjoyable, relaxing stay in Knox. This guest suite, with blinds in every room, is in a quiet residential area and parties and gatherings are not permitted.
