Y Bwthyn is a 3 bedroom contemporary cottage with south facing views over the beautiful north wales countryside. It has been fully renovated throughout, completed in late 2019 ready for the 2020 season. It sleeps 6 people in 3 double bedrooms arranged over two floors. There are 3 bathrooms, a large open plan kitchen/diner area, spacious lounge and laundry room. To the outside there is a patio area to the rear and a courtyard area to the front with seating. There is also ample parking space.

Our property promises a delightful experience combining modern amenities with scenic surroundings for a tranquil getaway. Our place is in the village of Rhuddlan near a 13th century church and castle, the River Clwyd, the Clwydian Hills, the beaches of Rhyl & Prestatyn, and the North Wales Expressway (A55). The peaceful, historic village has small local shops, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The modern, ground floor annex is private, with its own front door, hall, bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower and small kitchenette. It is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.

Less than 10 minutes drive to stunning beaches, supermarkets, restaurants and shops. Nearby attractions, waterfall, historical houses & castles, great pubs, fishing, riding, amazing walks and lots to do with children. If you want to explore further afield Limekiln Cottage is a perfect gateway to discover all North Wales, Chester & Liverpool has to offer.

Davies Cottage, cosy, comfortable base

A perfect base for exploring the North Wales Coast. A cosy and comfortable place to return to at the end of the day. It has wifi, good quality beds and bedding and a full bathroom, with lots of towels! The Point of Ayr Nature reserve is 5 minutes away, Talacre sand dunes and lighthouse, then Prestatyn further along the coast. Ffynnongroew was a mining village, with 2 pubs a few minutes walk away, along with a take away, Post Office and small convenience store. DOGS ALLOWED, NO CATS.

Located five minutes from A55 and adjacent to Halkyn Mountain, an ideal touring base for exploring our local area and beyond, great pubs and restaurants, theatres, market towns, the beaches and castles of Wales Coast/Snowdonia or Chester/Liverpool. It is very small, but fully equipped with modern facilities with character features.

Bro Dawel is situated in a peaceful spot within the small, historic Town of Caerwys. The Town boasts a well stocked convenience store, a hair salon, beauty salon and a pharmacy. 'On The Corner' Café and the Piccadilly Inn provide fantastic food and the beer garden at The Royal Oak pub is definitely worth a visit! Only two miles from the A55 Expressway and one mile from the A541, Bro Dawel is perfectly situated to explore the beautiful countryside, coastline and castles of North Wales.

The accommodation is best suited to one or two guests, however, the use of a sofa bed is available for guests not wanting to share or for larger parties for a short stay.
