Garden Flat, Ullswater: Fabulous views and reviews

Stunning views of Ullswater... Very special... Perfect... Well equipped... Spotless and clean... Fantastic host... No picture of our panoramic view can really do justice to The Garden Flat. But we hope those words from our most recent reviews do. The flat is in an elevated 19th century former hunting lodge. The Ullswater Way walking route is at the end of the drive. Down the hill is the Brackenrigg Inn, with its own microbrewery, and Another Place, with lake swimming and spa facilities.

The North Lakes Annex

Cosy and peaceful getaway on the fringes of the north Lake District. Motherby really is a perfect location if you want easy access to the Lake District (being just a few minutes from the A66) but are also wanting peace and quiet. Immediate walks from the property with spectacular views. Easily reached from M6, 15 minutes drive to Keswick, Pooley Bridge and Ullswater. The Lodge is a detached recently converted building. Splendid views from large shared garden to Lakeland Fells. Many outdoor activities available locally, Helvellyn and Blencathra nearby. Plenty of walks from the doorstep. Your dog is welcome.

Surrounded by fields and the view of the fells, this is a place to slow down, but also to have adventure!

Easy access to the A66 for Keswick. Very convenient to get to from the M6 motorway (junction 41).
