Porches, balconies and an outdoor courtyard equipped with grill, fire pit, lounging and eating areas. Laundry, wifi and adequate parking available.

Papa Bears Den is the Perfect Location to Visit the Hatfield and McCoy Trails offering access to not only one but two different trail systems (Devil Anse & Rockhouse) within a mile of the property! Devil Anse connects with a Third trial system (Buffalo) offering days of trials with no need to trailer to other locations! Relax on the porch or by the fire pits while cooking on the grills by a scenic creek! While here visit the gravesite or museum of Devil Anse, just a short walking distance away

Our home is located in front of the Devil Anse, Hatfield and McCoy trail 59.Across from The Devils Backbone Resort.Direct access to the Devil Anse,Buffalo, and the Rockhouse Trail systems.We have all the comforts of home, central air,fully furnished kitchen,comfortable living room with Cable network and Wi-Fi,we provide all the bed and bath linens,Washer and dryer, charcoal grill,and outside chairs for setting around the fire.We can accommodate 1-9 guest.3 Bedroom,2 Full Baths. Private parking with a 30ft walking bridge overlooking a water stream to lead you to the cottage. Queen bedroom downstairs; spiral staircase takes you to your loft queen bedroom; one full bath; full kitchen; TV/WIFI; indoor loft hammock; wrap around covered porch; tree covered outdoor shower area with hot tub; covered dining back porch. Large fire pit area with dried fire wood. Large 12ft x 12ft outdoor hammock beside fire pit. Park Series charcoal grill outside.

Peggie’s Studio Retreat

Peggie’s Studio Retreat is nestled in a secluded hollow just minutes from the Bearwallow Trailhead of the Hatfields & McCoys’ Trail System. The space is a large art/photography studio that has been transformed into an inviting living space. You’ll love the peace and quiet after a day on the trails. Buy your official Hatfield - McCoyTrail Permits on site. (Let Peggie know you want to purchase Trail Passes when you book the studio. Two week notice required )

Loft 1

Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. Located just 0.3 miles from Bear Wallow trail head with plenty of parking. The Loft has two bedrooms, and one has a tv, the shared living space has a tv, Daybed with trundle and a bunk bed featuring a full on bottom and twin on top. Walking distance from McCoy nightclub and 317 Steak house. Pet friendly with deposit. Rent the other 2 lofts and take over the entire top floor.

Riverfront cabin and mini campground

Relax with the whole family at this beautiful Cabin. A very peaceful place to stay. Sits on the Guyandotte River that's great for kayaking. Very close to the Hatfield McCoy Bear Wallow trailhead. Unload your ATV and hit the trail. Restaurant on site and also very close to a car wash. If you need a place to stay for the holidays while visiting family, this is the place for you! Just a couple of miles from Chief Logan State Park .

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay with a river-view. We are conveniently located minutes from the Hatfield and McCoy Trails and Chief Logan State Park. With a beautiful view of the river you can spend your evenings fishing. ( With our home being on the river we take every precaution for insects but some are out of control.). They are harmless. Sometimes bettles depending on time of year.
