Betty and Mike were terrific hosts. Creekside Sanctuary was absolutely gorgeous mid-October with beautiful fall leaves. Everything was as described in the listing, and it was very comfortable for all 10 of us (ages 11 to 75). The house was private and peaceful but also very convenient to the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, Needles Highway, Custer State Park, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, Badlands, and Spearfish Canyon. This was our first time to the area and we absolutely loved it.

Lovely cabin with a great family room that included a fuse ball table. There are a variety of boards games and crayons and Play-Doh for the kids. It’s been tastefully remodeled. The furniture and beds are comfy.

We had a great stay - the creek right behind the house is beautiful and we really enjoyed walking around on the hillside behind the house (we found some great trails!). We had some technical difficulties getting into the house, but the hosts were quick to respond and resolve the problem, we would definitely stay again!

If this place your wanting to stay I would 100% book it right now. Worth every penny!! I will be returning!! Thank you Dan for sharing your home with my little family!!

The appartement was very clean. We slept very well in the beds, that were very comfortable! The bathroom was clean too, there was nothing to complain. The Gasgrill was super, too. We enjoyed it! Thanks a lot! Best regards from two German travellers!

even we stayed at a cold weather it was still memorable, the place is so beautiful and the view from our deck of the hills and the pack of deer that comes everyday without a miss was so amazing, our dog was even intrigued about the sound of nature, we will definitely stay again!!!

What a great place! We really enjoyed the stay in the Black Hills. The place was spacious, family friendly with great and useful instructions to the house and guide to the area. Kitchen is stocked better than average. Scenery outside is stunning and peaceful, time creekside was enjoyed by all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the location right on the creek was so beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommend enjoying the hot tub at night, the view of the night sky was amazing. The house was just like the pictures, clean and comfortable.
