Off-grid cabin

Secluded cozy cabin that offers incredible views and a private waterfall. The cabin has 5 beds and two sofa beds. Included with the stay is private access to 3000 acres of beautiful nature to enjoy. A 4x4 car is recommended but not necessary if you are willing to walk the last 100 meters. Important: it is off grid and so it has very limited electricity and only cold running water. There is gas heating, gas grilling and a stove available. IMPORTANT FOR WINTER BOOKINGS: 4x4 car is required

It is 18 km. from Egilsstaðir on road 931 at the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaðir. The closest grocery store is in town Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape.
