Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und hatten trotzdem Zeit für uns! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Alles sehr sauber, das Bett bequem und man hatte vom Bett aus einen tollen Blick auf Wasser, Berge und die süßen Schafe! :) Das bereitgestellte Frühstück haben wir sehr genossen! Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. -vielen Dank!

Lovely place to stay, Carolyn was there to greet me on arrival. The view from the shared back porch was beautiful! Could see a lot of stars too. Good little continental breakfast provided. Although I could easily hear them when they were in the next room and worried I made too much noise for them, I think it worked out fine and we didn't end up being obtrusive once it was bedtime!

Maureen was amazing, she was super lovely and such a kind soul. We cannot recommend more! We had the most stunning sunset at the beach and felt like home during our whole stay. Thanks for having us and hope to be back in future.

Amazing stay! It was in a perfect location, room was nice and clean, and parking was easy. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and a huge plus. 5-10 minute easy walk to downtown. Definitely stay here for Portree

Mary was a WONDERFUL host! We arrived on bikes during a big rain wind storm. She came to find us in her car since we were later than expected. She made us a fire to dry off, fed us and gave us tea. We were able to dry our wet cycle clothes so we were ready for the next day. We had a fabulous breakfast before heading out. Mary is very friendly and it was a pleasure meeting her and chatting with her.

Staying at Margaret Ann's place exceeded our expectations. There are not many photos, which can often be misleading, but in this case left us pleasantly surprised. We were very worried about our late arrival, but Margaret Ann greeted us at the door, already had the underfloor heating prepared for us, and offered to make us a packed breakfast for the morning (which fully sustained us). The room is huge with large available closets, a comfy chair, a wooden rocking chair, handheld telescope, and is stocked with coffee, tea, and shortbread for the morning. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, especially after a long travel day and a few subpar stays elsewhere. Having an ensuite bathroom was also delightful. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer and that we didn't arrive earlier to fully enjoy it. We arrived after dark and were astonished by the view in the morning! Our primary reason for the stay was to be near the ferry to Skye, but I highly recommend a longer visit here!

lain met us and we immediately felt at home. The flat was warm and sunny. Everything we needed was there and we were very comfortable. The walk to town was easy and Iain had mentioned several places to eat which we found useful. A great stay.

We had a fabulous stay at Sue’s. The apartment was immaculate with stunning views. We ate once at The Applecross Inn and also cooked out on the beach … two fantastic meals ! We will definitely return and highly recommend Sue’s house to our friends.

A really charming flat right off the city center. Centrally located on the island, providing easy driving to major sights to visit. Hard to believe it’s under a paint store, given the quality of the flat.

Fantastic service and accommodation will stay again and recommend to friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay at Lochbay. The room was beautiful and well appointed and bed very comfortable. Vicky gave us a delicious homemade breakfast with her own granola and other tasty treats from the dining room with a stunning view over Lochbay. Both John and Vicky had some excellent advice to give us in terms of walks and we were enchanted by their friendly dog. We felt very welcome and will definitely return. Thank you both for a perfect stay.

We can’t say enough good about Rhoda’s place that would accurately say how good it was! Rhoda was so friendly, wanted to make sure our stay was perfect and was so willing to help us with suggestions and anything else. After a long day I said to my husband “let’s go home” referring to Rhoda’s place. It definitely felt like home to us! You would never be disappointed by staying with Rhoda! We truly loved her and her family! 💕💜💕

Sajnos nem sikerült Nate-tel és Lizzie-vel találkozni, de a macskájuk az utunkba futott, bár megsimogatni sajnos nem tudtam. Lényegre térve csodálatos helyen van a szállás, minden tiszta rendezett, barátságos szoba és ház. Mappában kaptuk az instrukciókat és külön ajánlatokat programra, kajára. Ezen kívül volt reggelink is kikészítve. Ha mennék a szigetre, biztos visszatérnék!!❤️

The place where the house is located is beautiful and peaceful. It was exactly what we expected it to be based on the photos. Although the house was tricky to find but that’s only because we arrived at night which the host did warn us about beforehand, the instructions to find the house was quite clear. The check-in was very easy despite our late arrival and the room was clean and as expected. The host was also lovely and was communicating to guide us throughout the day on check-in. I would highly recommend especially for the surroundings and the views.

Just wow - Rosie’s place is nothing short of exceptional. The house is decorated so beautifully and the location is completely perfect, just on the river where you can watch birds and otters from the sofa. Rosie put on an amazing breakfast each morning, which was absolutely delicious. We will absolutely come back to this delightful home.

Our stay with Janet was great! She was very accommodating with our schedule coming in and leaving. She had great knowledge of the area and sites to see during our short trip! The breakfast was incredible, we didn’t even need lunch after we finished. We hope to come to Scotland again and would most definitely come back to stay at Fair Winds B&B next time!
