A lovely house in a beautiful location, surrounded by amazing scenery and wildlife. We even saw a leopard whilst enjoying breakfast outside! Good staff, who were very hospitable and eager to help when necessary. We’d love to come back.

If you are coming to this area, stay here if you are a couple or a group. It is a large compound edit is just as it is described. There is everything you need and Moore. Fast Wi-Fi. TVs that work :-) games to play and an outdoor patio sitting area with couches to just relax and read a good book. This was right before our safari. I did the work for you so you can honestly book with confidence!

Other than the glitch with WiFi my stay was pleasant. Yunia hooked us up with a driver to take us for the Mara drive. Her place was convenient for my kids and I. Close to town.

This place exceeded our expectations—it’s even more beautiful than in the pictures! The lake view is absolutely breathtaking, with hippos right in front of the house and plenty of wildlife in the surroundings. The staff was outstanding, and the chef prepared delicious meals for us every day. We highly recommend this place.

My second review... as I stayed twice. I stayed here and then ventured off to the Lake areas (in search of a Rhino). I couldn't find another place that matched Sandra's so I returned here to enjoy my last days in Kenya. My second stay, as good as the first. I really enjoyed meeting all the staff and people on site. Please extend my hellos to everyone. I am thankful for the great conversations. Once again, I slept like a baby. Enjoyed the birds in the morning and small adventures with the dogs. Additional information: -Some bedrooms are ground floor and others are upstairs. - Bathrooms are plentiful - If heading to the Lakes or Mara, this is an excellent and strategic location. Give yourself two nights, if possible to enjoy this property. Rest up, and restock supplies in Narok. Thank you to Sandra and everyone. p.s. Finally found my rhino(s) in Nairobi NP (before my flight) as Sandra suggestion. Perfect ending to my Africa trip.

This is a very special place and the whole idea and concept of social tourism appealed. My wife was able to volunteer at a local medical clinic and I volunteered at the local college which was absolutely inspiring. All of the staff at Oldarpoi were so friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was great and we enjoyed cocktails around the fire pit every night. Oldarpoi does have a generator for when the electricity drops but it took a while to kick in at times making it difficult to keep things cool in the fridge (staff did offer to store perishable food in their fridge in the main kitchen if needed.) It would be beneficial to take a torch although paraffin lamps were available. We did a walking safari and game drive with local Maasai guide Moses which was absolutely breathtaking and we learned so much. Pool was huge (much larger than photos on website!) Cannot recommend highly enough! A wonderful experience escaping from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This was a superb location and the views from the cottage were just spectacular. The host was very responsive and helpful even with last-minute queries. she let us stay much longer than check out time so we could enjoy the place during the entire day. We loved the library and aesthetics of the place. Everything functioned well and the kitchen was very equipped.

Purity’s house was large, beautiful and in a very safe area with super friendly security. I stayed there with three friends on a much needed weekend getaway and this was just what we needed. Purity and the house manager were both incredibly nice, and if I had any questions they were answered in minutes. Great place!!

Lovely setting, good range of cooking utensils. Flexible timing, comfortable. Easy walk to the lake, secure parking. Walking distance to Carnelly's resturant.

The house from Esmond was very nice and clean. It was very big and had more than enough beds for 10 people. The communication with Esmond was very easy and fast. The house girls were also very nice and friendly. Even though the house is located a bit outside from the town I can really recommend the house. We really enjoyed!

This house was perfect for our family. It is spacious and homely and in a beautiful location. It is not all glitzy and new, but has simple character. A lovely veranda, and a hippo in the garden one night were charming elements. Our hosts were kind - offering us a complimentary meal at their restaurant and a free trip back to the house after dark to avoid trouble from hippos . Agnes also arranged our transport from Nairobi with her delightful daughter Beatrice. We didn't have a vehicle but hired bikes to explore the Hell's Gate national park, very close by - a great day out. The best view of the lake is from Agnes' Fisherman's Camp restaurant where we spent a wonderful evening, that I think I will never forget. The atmosphere was beautiful as dusk fell over the lake and the hippos appeared. We feel very blessed to have picked out this property from among dozens available in Nairobi and Naivasha just a week before arriving. We really had no idea what to expect, but got the very best!

Wir haben das Wochenende wirklich genossen. Besonders für unseren Sohn waren die Zebras morgens im Garten ein absolutes Highlight. Uns hat der Service von Brenda im Haus geholfen eine relaxte Zeit zu verbringen. Auch die Möglichkeit einen Privatkoch zu buchen haben wir für das ganze Wochenende genutzt. Das Haus war sehr geräumig und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Nähe zum Lake Naivasha und Hells Gate Nationalpark haben unsere Ausflüge sehr unkompliziert gestaltet. Wir kommen gerne wieder
