When visiting Sri Lanka I have been staying at Anu's place the past few years. High points consist of safe & quiet location and nearby grocery stores & eating places.

I stayed with Roshanthi and Jimmy at 26, Melford Crescent, Dehiwala during my visit to Sri Lanka. Both Roshanthi and Jimmy were very friendly and welcoming. One day, I had a memorable conversation with Jimmy for almost an hour — he is incredibly knowledgeable, speaks wonderfully, and we discussed a range of interesting topics. On other days, our interactions were short but always warm and pleasant. The house has a beautiful, partially open living area surrounded by greenery and flowers, including a lovely Frangipani tree, which made the environment very peaceful and refreshing. It was a perfect spot for relaxation and study, and my study partners often joined me there. They also have a sweet dog named Leah, who was a little shy but added to the homely atmosphere. Overall, my stay with Roshanthi and Jimmy was excellent. Their warmth and hospitality made me feel at home, and I am truly grateful for the experience. I would highly recommend their place to anyone visiting Colombo.

This place was a great find. I loved the location and the private nature of the unit. The host's parents were the sweetest people I met in Sri Lanka. They were very helpful and caring. The room is private and has all the amenities that's described in the listing. It's a little far from Negombo beach but it's located in a very peaceful and safe neighborhood. Great choice for solo travellers/couples . If I come back, this place will be my first choice.

I cannot say enough of my stay at Natasha’s place. It’s exactly as described. I found Natasha place relaxing, very clean with all the things in a home provided as expected and you only had to ask if need anything. The places I wanted to travel to were fairly close. I found Natasha and co-host Gihan absolutely wonderful hosts very knowledgeable and very helpful and understanding no task was too hard and treated me like family including Natasha mum a lovely lady. I had a wonderful time loved every moment. I would definitely recommend any person staying at Natasha’s place.

Nice, self contained flat within walking distance of central Colombo. Loved the washer, drier and air con. Panoramic view of Colombo from bed. Loved the stay, would stay here again.

You get the entire second floor in a beautiful house. The location is good, not too far from shopping districts but not too close either, just right. The garden is lovely and always full of squirrels, and I can't even list the number of amazing creatures I've seen from the windows while staying here. The host is extremely friendly and accommodating. We liked it so much, we stayed for another month!

Wijith's stay was impeccable clean, we'll appointed, and had all the furnishings you would need to have a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the outdoor terrace and ate all our meals there. The property is located at the end of a street and incredibly private, and the CCTV and garage made us feel very safe. It takes about 20-30 minutes to get into the heart of Colombo, but you have all the necessary groceries and food options available closeby. Wijith himself was very respectful and attentive and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. Would recommend this stay for anyone who wants to have a little peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the main city, while still being able to access it via tuktuk or cab.
