Gemütliches Cottage in Nenagh

Das Moyroe Cottage liegt am Rande von Nenagh auf einem Teil unserer Milchfarm. Die Stadtmitte mit ihrer Einkaufsstraße, diversen Pubs, Restaurants, dem Visitors Centre und dem Nenagh Castle sowie der Bushaltestelle liegt ca. 25 Geh- und 5 Fahrminuten entfernt. Tesco ist der am nächsten gelegene Supermarkt-5 Fahrminuten. Die Autobahn M7 ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Es gibt diverse Sehenswürdigkeiten, Wanderrouten o.ä. in der Umgebung. Situated in the grounds of the owner’s working farm, who are on hand to offer advice on the local area, the cottages are in an excellent central location on the Tipperary/Offaly border, almost equidistant from the picturesque town of Birr, 7½km, and one of the oldest towns in Ireland, Roscrea, 6km, and a 2km drive from Gloster house and wedding venue.

The cottage is set in a lovely southfacing courtyard set amidst farm and woodland, and only 50 mins drive from Shannon airport. It features a roll top bath, log burning stove and also has high speed fiber internet. The cottage has just been revamped and has high quality bed linen and towels to ensure that extra bit of luxury. Two miles from village with pub/restaurant and local shop with bakery. Close to lough Derg, beautiful walks and Ritual sauna by the lake. Homemade scones on arrival.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
