It has a suntrap back garden and is only 10 minutes walk to the beach. It's ideal for a relaxing holiday. High Eskholme is a detached cottage sitting in the heart of Eskdale estate set within the valley of Eskdale in the western Lake District, an area of outstanding natural beauty . On stepping out of the front door, there are walks for all abilities, over Muncaster Fell, a flat walk through woodland or walks along the river Esk. For the more ambitious, Scafell pike and the Wasdale Valley are just a car ride away, or Perhaps you would like to play the stunning 18 hole golf course, or fish the Esk.

An ideal place to relax or to be adventurous. We are located perfectly to give you great access to the beautiful, unspoilt fells, lakes, rivers, tarns and coastline the area has to offer. We are a perfect place to stay to climb Scafell Pike. We have designed and equipped No.2 Roseville be like a home from home.

Cosy Victorian cottage by the Cumbrian Coast

Refurbished Victorian cottage, a short walk from the beach, RSPB reserve on the cliff tops, Railway Station and Post Office with convenience store. Upstairs there are views of the sea, St Bees Head and the Isle of Man too on a clear day. The cottage was built in 1870 and we have furnished it in keeping with its period but the kitchen and bathroom have modern fittings. There is a garden area available to sit outside in summer. A wood-burning stove can be lit for cosy evenings on chillier days.

Traditionally built Log Cabin in a woodland setting, located between the mountains and the sea with views of the Western Fells Relaxing and Cosy Atmosphere with a wood burner. The Cabin comprises of a Kitchen, living area with sofa bed , mezzanine bedroom and adjoining bathroom ( I list this cabin for 2 or 3 people but would consider allowing up to 4 guests Please note this property may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility due to access and the very steep stairs to the bedroom.

It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Please note- We no longer have a hot tub.
