Guests rave about "views of the snowy pond while you’re warm inside" from heated floors and a wood burning stove with free firewood. Spikes provided for wonderful winter walks.

Full Murphy bed in living room with electric"wood" stove & queen bed in the loft. Trails through 68 acres of forest and meadow lead to 300 state acre forest. On top of the trees, overlooking the Sugar River in the quaint town of Newport, NH you will find plenty of year round activities including swimming, floating, fishing on the beautiful, clear Sugar River, right outside the back door. You will find the treehouse sits up in between 2 beautiful northern hemlocks and is fully equipped inside.

The Loft at River's Edge is a private, spacious, second floor river view apartment at the end the hosts' main house. Views of the Connecticut River and Vermont's mountains are breathtaking. Spacious lawns abound throughout the property. Guests have their own outdoor area where they can enjoy a hot tub, fire pit, gas grill and picnic table. Kayaks and canoes are available for guests to use free of charge. The loft is a comfortable and peaceful place to call your "home away from home."

We are offering a beautiful, COMFORTABLE, option to camping. Our off grid tent comes with all the comforts of home including a wood stove and reading nook! It is nestled into a hemlock grove overlooking the active beaver pond. Walking trails and local activities at a stones throw. If you have a small boat or kayaks- BRING them! We have space in the yard and lots of local places to send you to get good use out of them. Please do not use on our pond. We have a boat available for use.
