Mill House - Villa on Forgotten World Highway

This lovely villa was built in the early 1900’s by the McCluggage Family, who operated sawmills in the area. Their endeavors included the construction of a tunnel, in 1924, at the rear of the property to provide access to timber on the Whangamomona Saddle where it still remains today. Mill House is a fully furnished, four bedroom/one bathroom home that comfortably sleeps eight. Egmont Villa Farmstay is 5-10 minutes from New Plymouth by car, with panoramic views over the city, Tasman Sea & Mt Egmont/Taranaki. You will stay in your own spacious modern, self contained studio apartment which includes large bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. You are welcome to order a large continental breakfast or our famous cooked breakfast. One of the single beds is suitable for children only. A little bit of country

Guest room separate to the main house. Its a large studio room with en-suite. We're out in the country on a large lifestyle block, only 5mins from Inglewood which is a great little town, and 20mins from New Plymouth. Its a peaceful spot with a great view of Mt Taranaki from our garden. Our place is shared with 2 dogs (outside dogs), 3 cats (probably wouldn't see them), chickens and cattle on the farm From Sept - Oct we have lambs that are being hand fed. :-)
