Relax next to the crystal clear waters of the Gauley at this peaceful cottage. Push a boat or board in the water or read a book in a hammock. Visit the nearby New River Gorge or Hawks Nest parks. Bring your laptop and do some work with the consistent wifi. Drive your sports car on the fabled “Talon” road nearby. Enjoy this unique "base camp" while visiting our National Park and sites in southern West Virginia.

Want a break from being a muggle? Make some memories and get sorted in the tiny great hall, camp out at the cup, sleep in a common room, head for the magical candy shop, and solve the puzzles in the herbology themed escape room! Small details abound from the familiar characters in portraits to the potions cabinet, the car in the tree, the Lumos & Nox switches, & much more. All just outside the New River Gorge National Park! Songbird Sanctuary

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Our place is on a little dirt road with a beautiful view of the sun rising over the mountains and horses grazing in the field. Off the main road approximately 1/10 of a mile with no traffic in front of the house. Beautiful backyard with a fire pit and grill, also corn hole for outdoor fun. No nosy neighbors, but the sound of children playing nearby. Just minutes away from rafting, mountain climbing and new river gorge

When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.
