A peaceful cabin in the Manistee National Forest, surrounded by acres of forest and near to many lakes, rivers and hiking/recreation trails of northern Michigan. All sports Diamond lake is just around the corner with boat launch and park, hiking/ORV trails just down the street, and 10 minutes to the White River. This cedar cabin has comfortable amenities including a garage converted game room with wifi TV, spacious outdoor fire pit and large windows to take in the views and wildlife visitors.

This cabin is on a high bank overlooking the Muskegon River, celebrated for world-class fishing, kayaking and tubing. You'll enjoy 475 ft. of river frontage, 7+ acres, and scenery that rivals Michigan's State Parks. When you reach the river by stairs & trail, enjoy the fire pit or cast your line. Stair climb can be strenuous at end of a long day of river fun but worth it!

Access for North Country Trail is from multiple locations near the cabin. Located 4 miles from Newaygo for small town fun and food. Three miles from Croton Damn. Fast internet service.

There are 2 public launches & our 40 foot private dock for your own boat or jet ski! 2 kayaks & 1 paddleboard available. Joining us in winter? Ice fishing, local snowmobile trails & beautiful sunsets.

This pet-friendly 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin has great views of the Muskegon River Valley and all the amenities necessary for an incredible stay. It includes a small private beach and dock for a boat on a large all-sports lake. Lake is accessible via 185 steps. The area is known for incredible fishing, boating, hiking, and mountain biking. We are approximately 2 miles from the Dragon Trail mountain biking.
