3 - 1/2 miles North of US-2 Perfectly nested in a beautiful country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

This is perfect if you are looking to “camp” without the hassle of a tent and other equipment. It’s extremely private; there is no light pollution and the stars are magnificent. The cabin sleeps two guests. This is truly off-grid; no power or running water. There is a sled dog kennel nearby so expect to hear the “neighbors” during feeding time!

Lots to do locally with Tehquamenon falls 35 minutes away, 30 minutes to whitefish point and 20 minutes to the town of Paradise down a sandy 4.7 mile two track. 4 wheel drive required! This experience is rustic with no power, or heat. There is an outhouse.
