Showing my military family some much needed love! This special discounted rate is extended to active duty/retired service members, and their immediate family. As everyone knows, if you have a spouse or loved one in the military, the whole family is in the military! I have a private room with a queen sized bed and private bathroom in my home complete with flat screen TV, cable, Wifi and coffee in the morning for my military guys and gals! Our spacious 3 room, 1,200 square foot historic (c. 1670) one bedroom apartment for two guests has exposed beams, wide pine floors, full bath, kitchenette, and is just a short walk to Long Sands Beach or a short drive to York Beach, York Harbor, or York Village.

The Victorian Room at Parkside Retreat—a quiet, peaceful retreat just 3 miles from the bay and 5 miles from the oceanfront, without all the beach noise! Five minutes from I-264 in NE Virginia Beach. Huge back yard adjacent to park. We are very much like a classic bed and breakfast, just without the breakfast. Windy Top Cottage ~ A Romantic "European" Getaway

The Windy Top Cottage is an old stone building constructed in 1932 by H. L. Bitter, a wealthy Hartford businessman. This area of Granby was a favorite of the Hartford elite for a place to 'summer' in the early part of the 20th Century. The cottage was the quarters for the domestic staff while the family was in North Granby. With an elevation of 970, we offer clean, fresh country air!
