beautiful place right on the river! Lake Champlain and the ferry are a 5-10 minute drive, and you are able to bring your pup with!

This is a very nice Adirondack camp, with beautiful Long Lake right in the backyard. The house was very well equipped and clean. We found everything we needed. Large windows offer a great view of Long lake. Our host was very responsive. One thing to know is that if you are staying in this house in cold weather you may hear mice in the attic, but this is not unusual in Adirondack camps such as this one. Overall, we recommend this house on beautiful Long Lake to anybody looking to stay in the area.

We had a family vacation and enjoyed our stay at the house. The house is spacious and clean. The driveway is steep. We enjoyed the screened porches overlooking the lake.....beautiful sunsets. There is a small private and shallow water area between the dock and the boathouse. The grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed playing in the area.

This is my favorite Airbnb to date by a long shot. The property is in a beautiful and perfect location- giving you walking distance proximity to local shops and restaurants. There are loads of trails and mountains a short drive away. We booked with Todd & Amy for a group hiking trip knowing it was shoulder season. We were completely rained out and ended up spending much more time inside than we hoped for. But let me tell you- their space was perfect for our group. Their dining room table was ideal for family dinners and there were so many games to choose from! The air hockey and ping pong tables were big hits. The house is massive and allowed everyone sleep comfortably and there was never a line for the shower since there are four of them. The house has so many thoughtful touches that really reflect the beauty of the Adirondacks while staying modern with tasteful renovations. I would recommend this property to anyone!

It is my pleasure to recommend Brad's house in Lake Placid / Saranac. I travel there every year with a group of friends for hiking and skiing, and this was the perfect spot for us to stay. The house was easy to find and more than large enough to fit us all. Brad's instructions were very clear and he was responsive to all messages I sent over the course of the stay.

This review is based on my brother & I bringing up a boat to fish Lake Champlain. You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful location right on the water and being in short proximity to the Ticonderoga boat ramp. There is also boat ramps to the North. I wouldn’t recommend any boats larger than 22’ because you do have to finagle your way over some RR tracks which can be tricky. For anyone that just wants a leisurely vacation this house is brand new on the inside with 2 comfortable bed’s & bedrooms. I have stayed at a multitude of VRBO’s in past couple years and they all had tiny, cramped showers. NOT this place! Finally a place with a gorgeous , large shower! There is a big deck facing the lake with lots of nature & critters to be seen. Kelly does have kayaks & canoes for anyone w/o a boat which works well in the nice little cove area where she is located. Just tons of stuff to do in this area. I have been coming up here for 25 years and now no more motels ! Awesome

An outstanding, truly outstanding home, location, property, and rental experience. The house itself is cool, cosy, and perfect for families. The views cannot be beat. The location is excellent. Everything about our time here makes this one of our top AirBnB experiences ever. A+ in every way!!

If you are looking to shut away the world for a few days and live in a beautiful cabin by the lake, this is the spot! We had a fantastic stay right in the lap of nature and had the most incredible view of the lake and a private dock overlooking it!

Beautiful location with spectacular views of Lake Champlain. The Best Nest offers peace and quiet in a private setting. Everything was just as described in the Airbnb posting.

Amazing location and views. Walkable to all of downtown and the space was beautifully renovated and kept. Would definitely stay here again.

Cannot recommend Audrey or her space highly enough. It was beautiful, private, spacious, with so many amenities. She was so gracious to stock the fridge with a few items since we were getting in late. It was overall a wonderful and comfortable stay in a beautiful location.

Meachele is a wonderful hostess and her place is cozy comfortable clean and exactly right for our family. We come up to Lake Placid for a hockey tournament and can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The place and her hospitality are more than you can ask for and we are so grateful that she opens her Airbnb to us.

Beautiful loft, even nicer than the pictures! Josh was really great and very responsive and helped us out a lot when the power went out. Great stay overall!

We loved staying at Porcupine cabin and look forward to renting again in the future. The host was so nice and communicative during our stay - she even left snowshoes for us to use! We will be inquiring about the attached house to stay with our whole family, but the little cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway from the busyness of life. The cabin had everything we needed and was exactly as described. It was so cozy and we even had snow while we were there, which was exciting for us since the area we come from didn’t really have snow this year. This was our first time renting an Airbnb and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. ☺️

Stayed for a few days with my family and it was an amazing experience from beginning to end! The house was absolutely spotless, the host & family were very friendly and helpful. This apartment was exactly what we needed while in town for a hockey tournament. Close to the rink, shops, great restaurants and activities! It was very clean and tidy and having a washer and dryer available was huge for us. MarieLine was very responsive and accommodating for all of our needs. Whiteface Mountain was a beautiful 14 minute drive away, and other than that adventure we didn’t need our car at all, it’s a wonderful walkable community! Highly recommend grabbing breakfast or lunch at Origin Coffee!

This cabin at Rainbow Lake was the perfect place for the quiet retreat my adult son and I needed. Cozy living room with new wood floors; small but perfectly functional and well-stocked kitchen; comfortable beds and pillows; updated bathroom and easy-to-use shower; hot water was very responsive; washing machine/dryer are much more modern than what I have at home (the manual was easy to find!) Our favorite spots were the dining table by the picture window overlooking the lake, and the Adirondack chairs on the dock at lakeside. The cabin is in a secluded cove, and the water was as smooth as glass most of the time. We even saw a loon several times, even though it was late October! There was just a little road noise during "going to/from work" times (can't call it "rush hour"); the rest of the time, just wonderful silence and the whisperings of the pine trees. We didn't use the kayaks, fire pit, or barbecue. Ten-minute drive into Saranac Lake for groceries, etc. We'd love to come back!

Really enjoyed my time at the Valcour Cottages. Had beautiful sun rises over Lake Champlain and great stars at night. Really peaceful!

Our stay was amazing! We were moving our daughter into her dorm at UVM and were in Burlington for a week. We decided to stay here rather than a hotel near campus. It was the best decision ever. Jack and Robin’s cottage was the perfect place to prepare for dorm move-in. We were able to get out and explore the area. The sunrises over Lake Champlain were beautiful while we drank our morning coffee. Walks on the causeway were great for watching sunsets. 10/10 will stay here again when we visit our daughter at UVM. Go Catamounts!

The setting is beautiful, great views from the house and deck. Lovely rustic cabin. Very clean and Jodi is extremely responsive.

This is a phenomenal place, incredibly private, secluded and serene. The place is exactly as described, it’s a great place to bring the family. 10/10 would recommend again and will definitely be back next time I’m in plattsburgh

Mary Lou’s place was absolutely phenomenal. I came in the middle of October, and it was peak cozy, fall vibes! The cabin next to the docks in the foliage felt like I was in a painting. I absolutely would love to come back and just cozy up under a blanket next to the fire place. Highly recommend staying in this gem of a place if you have the opportunity.

Convenient to our hunting spot, the accomodations were closer and far more comfortable than where we have stayed in the past. Ardie very accommodating, and helpful during our stay. Two of us will be returning in two weeks and hopefully again next year.

Our stay was pure bliss. Caleb and Eleri are amazing and the cottage is simply perfect. The location is beautiful and hard to beat, the space is carefully appointed and very comfortable, with generous amenities. Congrats to the hosts for building such an amazing place. We can't wait to see them develop their different endeavours further.
