It sits at the top of a Brae so commands beautiful views of the Sea of the Hebrides with Skye Eigg and Muck Complete Privacy no one behind or main road at your door . It’s fenced off so peace of mind for dogs or children .Its very private . We have everything in it to make it a fantastic home for holidays with Internet included . What more could you want 😊 Saturday to Saturday is preferred but we can sometimes be more flexible .

The Cuckoo's Nest Glamping Huts: Woody

This is one of two glamping huts at The Cuckoo’s Nest. Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these little wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Conveniently located approximately a mile from the main road linking the Isles of Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist, the huts offer an idyllic base from which to explore the islands, to pause whist travelling along the Hebridean Way, or to take a relaxing short break.

Situated in the quiet village of Lochboisdale, just a stones throw from the ferry terminal. Birdsong is a fantastic base for exploring our stunning landscapes and wildlife. Enjoy the splendid sunsets from the decking and wake up to the sound of beautiful birdsong. This is one of two glamping pods at Croftend Glamping.

2 bedroom caravan with gas central heating. Master bedroom has a Double size bed an en suite and plenty storage. Second bedroom consists of 2 single beds and storage. Main bathroom has a fully closed walk in shower. The Kitchen/living area is open plan with a large fridge freezer, gas cooker, microwave, kettle & toaster. The living area has a 32" smart tv with freeview, electric fire and 2 recliner sofas. The living room opens out on to a patio area via double patio doors.

The chalet is set in a stunning location, nestled snugly amongst the hills of Locheynort on the shoreline of a breath-takingly beautiful bay. The chalet is ideal for a peaceful, relaxing holiday and is also an excellent spot from which to explore the neighbouring islands, either by car across causeways or by taking ferry journeys to Barra in the south or Harris/Lewis in the north.
