Very spacious place. More so than the pictures indicate. Peaceful and homey.

J’ai passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement ! L’appartement était impeccablement propre, décoré avec goût et extrêmement bien équipé. Le lit était très confortable, et j’ai adoré les petites attentions laissées par l’hôte à notre arrivée.

Beautiful stay for our anniversary. Peaceful walking distance to point break for my surfer husband. Amazing pool and deck area and everything you need for a time away, definitely bring everything you need with you as there’s only a small shop with very basics in it.

What a fantastic place with great sea views. The apartment is located right across the harbour and main beach which makes it a very short walk to get your feet in the sand. There is a nice area to sit outside and look over the ocean while having a braai. Very nice rooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Felt very safe as the place has an active alarm system as well. We really enjoyed our stay and had a great Christmas at the sea. Hihly recommended.

Perfect and beautiful spot for a stay over on route. The cottage is spotless clean and has welcoming sherry and everything you need to settle in. Both rooms are tastefully decorated with large en-suite bathrooms.

Beautifully curated house with all the amenities one could need and more. Perfectly situated for walking around town. Felt very private and safe. Beautiful view of the mountains from the courtyard. My only gripe is having to go back to my own house after staying at Casa Karoo.

A beautiful house, a mixture of old and new in a magnificent setting. If you like wrap around stoeps and views and plenty of room to spend time with family and friends, then its perfect!! Many thanks.

De self catering accommodatie is enorm aan te raden voor een stop over. Prettige ontvangst, zeer ruim, vriendelijk en het gevoel welkom te zijn!

Simon is a lovely host, and the place is awesome. We fell in love with the Baboon House, and we will be back the other day! Also taking a bath in the nearby Jan Disselsrivier is just wonderful & a must-do.

The perfect stop over for us and our kids on our drive back to Joburg. Cosy home with all we needed and lots of space and jungle gym for the kids to burn off energy. And getting to see the horses was a huge bonus! We will be back next time!

We enjoyed our very short stay. They were accommodating with braai facilities and braai packs on short notice and our dogs could roam around free and safely. The place was clean and smelt nice. Would totally recommend as a halfway stop travelling from Gauteng to Western Cape.

A wonderful stay! Lovely farm, cottage and host. There is a great braai area outside, but after a long day on the road we decided to treat ourselves to a home-cooked meal in the guest dining room which was superb. Stylish setting and fine touches, with the lemon meringue for dessert the best we've ever had. 10/10!

Wow what a stunning house in the perfect location for a relaxing weekend away from it all. Just 2 hours drive from Cape Town, Aurora is a tiny town literally in the middle of nowhere. There is a small shop and a coffee shop and that's all. You need to come with all your supplies as we were told on booking. Rojeane's house is a home from home, equipped with everything you could possibly need. The house is beautifully furnished and designed and perfectly positioned for the stunning sunset views. We had plans to hike and take a trip to the coast and we were so instantly relaxed that we did nothing. We read books and played with board games from the cupboard and then had delicious long braais into the night. The homemade feta and sourdough bread were so delicious we were begging for more! We were travelling with our teenage children and 2 small dogs and we all wished to stay another night longer when we left. It was a great family weekend away from the city.

This was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! The place is extremely well stocked and had all the things to make it just about modern but also off the grid. Meeting Iziba really added to all the experience. The host, Damien and Lionel, were the nicest people and went above and beyond to make your stay excellent. As a note: Please be aware that the place is quite a bit away from the motorway and have offline maps downloaded if you are driving to the place.

I want to share my impressions of our weekend in a lovely house we rented with friends. The place was cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxation. The nature around was simply breathtaking: green forests and fresh air created a serene atmosphere. We enjoyed morning walks and evening gatherings on the terrace. Huge thanks to Jane for her hospitality and care. This weekend left us with only positive emotions, and we will definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed. Location was great - 6 min walk to the beach and shop. Will be back!

If tranquility was a place…… Our stay at House Kuru was exceptional. Comfy, clean beds and a clean unit, nature at your doorstep. The aircon was a life saver and the outside shower an absolute treat! The surroundings are breathtaking and the many hiking and swimming opportunities at your doorstep are amazing. Matthys is very responsive and his team is lovely. Receptionist was super friendly at check. There’s a little store with some goodies if you happen to forget something. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful place to stay! Such lovely surprise with the home made bread on arrival! Even the river flooding we could still use all the facilities. Caley communicated well and always stayed in touch. There is no cellphone signal but they have wifi!

We had a great stay at this house. No problems checking in. Air conditioning and other amenities. Beds were good too.

AMAZING stay ! The cottage has everything you need and is very neat and clean. 5min walk to the beach, we got to see the dolphins on our early morning walk- simply awesome. The sunsets are just as beautiful! Landi who was our contact person is such a darling- very helpful and even popped in to say hi . If you looking for comfort and relaxation, this is where you need to go !

Incredibly charming home with the most amazing surrounds. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. The kids were entertained. Did not bother with WiFi or TV. Just blissful views and direct access to the beach. Loved the little pizza oven with all the tools. The kids went from the beach into the pool. We enjoyed the Kayak as well. Shane is a great a host. Highly recommended.

We loved this house right on the beach. Very comfortable beds, beautifully clean linen and towels, and beach towels. Easy to use space, with lots of different areas for sitting and looking at the amazing view. Lovely walks along the beach and a very cold swim which was wonderful.

Easy to find and close to restaurant. Everything was as described and it was a perfect place to stay with our 2 dogs on our long trip to Cape Town. Adine was helpful and friendly.
