Wander Across Charles Bridge at a Grand, Romantic Apartment

The apartment is situated in an historical building in the first floor. It is in the middle of all the touristic attractions. Therefore, during the season there is an increased number of people walking the street. Also, due to the historic preservation the original windows had to be kept. We renovated them but they are no match to the modern windows with regard to the insulation. In short - for some it might feel noisy - just as in any other city center :-) patio We tried to make the acommodation as private as possible so you don't need to interact with anybody (except picking up the keys at the restaurant). However, feel free to reach out to us if you need help or suggestions. We should be available in Prague most of the days. If you think something is missing or needs improvements, let us know. Thank you! The apartment sits in a historic area of the city just under Prague Castle's gardens and vineyards. The famous swans spot on the river is around the corner, and peaceful parks, Charles Bridge, and the Old Town are a short walk away. You are at one of the best parts of the city. Within a walking distance you have all major tourist attractions. For anything else, tram stop is 50m far (including famous 'tourist' lines 22 and 23), underground station (with direct airport connection) is 100-150m far. Currently, there is a reconstruction going on in the neighboring house - the noisiest part is over, so you can occasionally hear something. If you plan to do the sightseeing, this should not be too much of an issue since they won't work 24/7. Most of the time we don't even realise there is some extra noise apart from the city noises :-)

Beyond its location, the biggest attraction of the apartment is the spectacular view that can be enjoyed from the living room as well as from the master bedroom. The apartment is situated in the heart of the city, most of the main attractions are in walking distance. Metro, bus and tram stations are just a few steps from the apartment. Its array of vibrant, elegant restaurants, brewpubs, and nightclubs. Steps away are the Museum of Ethnography, Liberty Square and Hold Street Market. All public transport is within walking distance: subway, metro, trams, and buses. The apartment is a few minutes walk away from the historical 2nd tram, the 2nd and the 3rd metro line or bus station for castle rides :) Parking is available on the street for 1,5 euros/hour. Weekend parking is free. A public garage is 2 minutes walk away.

I will try to help you as much I can to make you enjoy your stay. The building is in the heart of Zagreb's pedestrian zone, just steps from main square. There are bars, restaurants, bakeries, and shops right in front of the building and there are tram stops nearby to explore other parts of the city. Because of its location, everything you need to see in center is in walking distance so no public transportation is necesary. If you want to go explore some more, minute away from apartment on central town square are tram stops with trams that go to every part of city. Also, taxi stand is few steps from building.

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.
