Located only a 5 min walk to the estuary and a 5 min drive to Omaha and Matakana. One night stays and day stays also available if you just want to luxuriate in the spa (Weekdays only).

All new furnishings, clean and tidy. Perfect for the whole family or 2 families holidaying together. Plenty of room outdoors and fully fenced. Fish filleting bench and outdoor shower for those days at the beach.

Boat ramp nearby, large spa pool on expansive deck, both properties fenced and a gate adjoining the two, tiny northland town, house one sleeps four and house two sleeps 10. Full wooden cot and baby bath provided, fibre unlimited internet in both houses, and lovely grassed area as well. Ducks and chickens your hosts.

The Top House, so named because of its location, with 270 degree views, has unrivalled privacy, and it's own helipad. This recently renovated 3 bedroom house is located on 330 acres of private farmland. The house has been finished to a high standard, with excellent amenities, including hot tub with amazing views, outdoor dining and lounge spaces on 360 degree decks, WiFi, two TVs, heaps of parking, modern kitchen and luxury bathrooms, and comfortable stylish furniture throughout.

Wharau Lodge

Wharau Lodge is a privately owned 2 bedroom home which is available to be used as an idyllic holiday retreat offering panoramic views over the Bay of Islands. If we do not have people staying before or after you we offer flexible check in and check out. We charge a $85 cleaning fee. Also there is an optional $55 charge if you would like us to have the Hot Tub ready to use.
