広くゆったりしたキッチンで料理しながら飲めるのは最高でした！

Location is great; near lots of Onsen and bus station. Hosts were amazingly helpful with everything, and always willing to go the extra mile (for example my son was sick and rather than tell us where the pharmacy was, they rang to take us there, walked us to the place and spoke to the pharmacist) They were also great at helping us navigate the area and giving recommendations about how to arrange our trip. They were friendly and caring. Would really recommend staying here.

We enjoyed this place with family, best recommended for family with kids, and also suitable for the group gatherings, well facilitated house with kids play environment, outdoor setup for barbecue is awesome, big parking area, they also provided bbq setup and all utensils, i recommend this place, best stay

This was truly one of the best stays I’ve ever had in all my years of traveling – a perfect 10 out of 10 experience! The host prepared everything we could possibly need for daily living, with thoughtful attention to detail. There were plenty of hangers, and the kitchen was fully equipped with cooking utensils that were not only complete but also in excellent, like-new condition. Every corner of the house was spotless – immaculately clean. The bed linens and blankets were exceptionally fresh and clean, which made us feel very comfortable. One of the highlights was the bathroom, where we could enjoy a real hot spring bath. The host had already prepared the water at just the perfect temperature, so we could relax and enjoy it as soon as we arrived. There were also many types of pillows to choose from, which made sleeping even more enjoyable. The bath towels were single-use, which was very reassuring from a hygiene perspective. Overall, this experience was truly outstanding and beyond

First of all, I would like to express my greatly thanks to Chisato さん for his help, care, cooking, driving, touring etc. not just my guesthouse host but more like a sincere friend, like my grandpa, like my family member! I’m really surprised that Chisatoさんhelp me plan all the things and give a clear instructions even drive us to tour his hometown—Sendai (Yamagata), really unforgettable and pleasant experience!! Also Chisatoさん’s cooking is best! And healthy! Make me try good home-made Japanese food and change my impression of そば、ramen:) let me know more about Japan, know more about Japanese culture!! One o the most pleasure I wanna share is his house, once he opened the door, I feel like I came back home with warm, cozy light and atmosphere, comfort bed, clean house, tidy room…everytime when I slept on the soft bed, I feel at home❤️also, I really enjoy making friend with him, though maybe we are in different generations, but through him, I see the different cultures and generation! Thx

Super peaceful and beautiful place, the view is amazing. Dogs are super cute and energetic. Steve is a very helpful, kind and cheerful host, happy to meet him:)

Kazue-san was very nice! She even helped me plan a schedule to let me have the most fun possible in the limited time I was there. The room was filled with life, like a room you'd actually live in, and everything is very very clean and comfortable, feels like coming back to your own room back in your family home. The futon was very soft, smells nice, and very clean, probably the best bed I've ever slept in. She also prepared a delicious apple juice from her own farm, and prepared a warm, hearty breakfast for me in the cold morning. The bathroom is also very clean, and are arranged in the traditional Japanese style with a changing room, washing area, and bathtub. The toilet is a modern one like the ones you can find in Tokyo. If I go there again I will definitely be staying a lot longer!

We had a lovely few nights at Tomo’s house, which was spacious and comfortable. The view from the balcony of the bay is beautiful. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. Tomorrow couldn’t have been more helpful, picking us up from the station and taking us back, as we were on public transport. She offered to drive us around, but there was no need, as the busses, although infrequent, are reliable, and worked well for us to visit the area.
