It is situated on a small farm with cattle and sheep. Guests enjoy sightings of kangaroos, wombats, echidnas, kookaburras & native birds. Local activities include trout fishing, hiking, kayaking, mushrooming, truffle hunts, Waldara weddings, sightseeing in the Blue Mountains, Jenolan Caves, Kanangra Walls and Mayfield Garden. Oberon is the perfect place to explore the beautiful pine forests, go mushroom foraging, fossicking, truffle hunting, fishing, enjoying a drink and seasonal produce at Mayfield Gardens or just having a cuppa by the fireplace.
