Ferienunterkünfte mit Balkon in Obwalden

VALUE FOR MONEY and the most beautiful location one can imagine. Was a bit far from the train station but was worth every penny spent. The ambience around the area the feel of the place, the view from the property was mesmerising. The supermarkets were 2km away but the host provided us bicycles in the property , so it was easy. Nearby u have BRUNNI, the Hidden gem of Engelberg , a perfect picnic spot for family. A park was also there near the supermarket and the station which had swings and other activities for the kids. Mt titlis was nearby. So all in all a perfect quite place away from the city hussle. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

we hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in engelberg! de accommodatie zag er in het echt ook beter uit dan op de foto's! alles netjes en schoon en een prima keuken om zelf je eten klaar te maken. Houd er bij aankomst wel rekening mee dat je de sleutels op moet halen bij het toeristen bureau en deze tot 17 uur open is. Personeel daar is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Dus zeker een aanrader!

Die Wohnung liegt sehr nahe am Bahnhof und am Ortszentrum, was alle Ausflüge und Besorgungen sehr einfach macht. Die Zimmeraufteilung war für uns (4 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) sehr angenehm und der Essplatz/Wohnbereich geräumig. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

What an incredible house - we felt very privileged to stay in such a wonderful traditional house. It was huge! The downstairs was modernised as in the photos but the upstairs had remained very traditional, which we loved. There was everything you could need in the kitchen, with a large Coop about 15 mins walk away (we didn’t have a car). The house has incredible views of the mountains - sitting on the balcony of my bedroom drinking coffee in the morning you have a view of the Jungfrau - it’s incredible. The sheer beauty of the whole place was wonderful and I am so happy that we found this house - rather than have to take 3 hotel rooms for our family. Jeanette our host was very helpful and welcoming and sent us a very useful video and was very responsive with questions we had. I would definitely return to this house if we return to Interlaken.

Loved it! The view,, I mean wow! It was breathtaking!! 🫶 Sure it took 20 minutes by walk from train station, but it was totally worth it. We stayed for 3 nights! And I wish we’d stayed more. Everyone at interhome was very very nice! I do want to come back for my honeymoon! strongly recommend this place for young people! (Cuz my mom didn’t like the walking part haha)

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Alles war wie beschrieben und das Chalet ist gemütlich und schön. Sehr empfehlenswert.

The village was very nice. It was very near to many famous places like Interlaken, lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald. This house have everything a person need on holidays.

3rd family vacation in Grindelwald. Always a terrific time. This was probably the best of our accommodations in terms of fit for family and value.

Perfect home in the most beautiful valley on earth. Beds and furniture were comfortable, kitchen perfectly equipped, everything was spotless. All of that was great but the VIEW… utterly speechless.
