Absolutely lovely place, spacious and cozy. Minnie was really helpful and the house was so homey that we were sad we didn't stay longer. Already talking about coming back, I can't recommend it enough.

Angela’s accommodation at Kilduff’s Farmhouse is well equipped with everything you’ll need, it is well appointed, warm and comfortable. As the name suggests, the setting is rural and quiet. Be aware shops and facilities are all a drive away, so plan accordingly. We found excellent restaurants and bars in the area, all run by engaging, welcoming locals. Angela’s communications were spot on and prompt. We enjoyed our stay and commend Kilduff’s Farmhouse to you.

A comfortable, lovely home in a large village. Groceries near by for cooking at home. A restaurant within walking distance for a dinner out. And the singing pub just down the road for a drink and good music. The home was quiet at night. And Gerard was a terrific host. He shared some wonderful, historical information about the home and the area and was super responsive to our texts. We had a fantastic stay!

An excellent house for a group gathering - spacious with ideal amenities, great bedrooms, and centrally located for easy access to shops and pubs! Absolutely idea for our New Years getaway as a group of 14.

We had a fantastic experience staying at Danny’s Airbnb in Laois. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and exactly as described — even better in person! Danny was a thoughtful and responsive host, making sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was peaceful and perfect for exploring the beautiful Laois countryside and we really appreciated the small touches that made it feel like a home away from home. We would definitely recommend Danny’s Place to anyone visiting the area, and we’d love to stay again! Thank you, Kathy, for such a lovely experience!

I absolutely loved this pet-friendly house. It’s warm in every sense, the style mixes antique with quirky, and you feel immediately at home. The walled garden is an experience in itself, ideal for reading a good book or simply enjoying the magical feel of it. My dog enjoyed it too. The piano is tuned and the sound is beautiful - it had been 20 years since my last time playing and I loved the opportunity. The location is central, literally 1 minute walk to Birr Castle and maybe 5 minutes to the town centre. Don’t miss Birr River Walk, especially if you have dogs. You will also find Memory Lane Courtyard Cafe opposite the entrance to the castle - again, perfect spot for dog parents. We walked as far as Woodfield Garden Centre (about 25 minutes) - well worth it. So, you can park your car and forget about it! Truly a great experience.

Tolles Haus mit sehr viel Platz. Wir waren mit sieben Erwachsenen dort und hätten locker noch zwei weitere Personen unterbringen können. Toll vor allem die vielen Badezimmer, so dass man sich hier nie in die Quere kam. Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre, dass man jedem Gast zwei Handtücher zur Verfügung stellen könnte und die vorhandenen schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen sind. Perfekt auch die Lage des Hauses von wo aus man in wenigen Minuten in der Hauptstraße mit Pubs, Geschäften usw. ist. Wir waren Ende April in Moate, wo leider ganz wenig los war und fast alle Pubs und Restaurants erst ab Donnerstags Essen anboten. Moate ist perfekt gelegen, um sich das Landesinnere Irlands mal anzuschauen (Athlone, Clonmacnoise usw.). Nur zwölf Kilometer entfernt in Ballymore gibt es auch einen tollen Pitch & Putt Platz. Absolut zu empfehlen für jeden der Spaß am Golfspiel auf kurzen Bahnen hat !!! Alles in allem mal wieder ein toller Aufenthalt auf der Grünen Insel !!!

Wir waren als Familie mit zwei Kindern in der Unterkunft, die durch die zwei Schlafzimmer und Bäder hervorragend dafür geeignet war. Leider haben wir Marguerite die Gastgeberin nicht persönlich getroffen aber wir konnten sehr einfach einchecken und für uns waren Brot, Tee, Marmelade, Süßes für die Kinder und vieles mehr vor Ort bereitgestellt so das wir nicht sofort einkaufen mussten, was das ankommen sehr angenehm macht. Ausreichend Holz zum einheizen und abends gemütlich am Ofen zu sitzen war auch vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen. Der Pub ist nur eine Minute entfernt und Kinder dürfen jederzeit mit hinein, da man im Nebenraum einen gemütlichen Platz am Ofen findet. Die Umgebung eignet sich hervorragend für Wanderungen, wenn es nicht wie bei uns fast durchgehend regnet, aber man ist mit dem Auto in Kilkenny in 45 Minuten oder Limerick in 60 Minuten Waterford und der Atlantik in etwas mehr als eine Stund leicht zu erreichen. Kurz gesagt perfekte Lage!

We had a lovely stay at Paul's as our first stop on our trip around Ireland. Only an hour from Dublin airport, but a world away! Paul was very easy to communicate with and kindly let my daughters accompany him while feeding the alpacas. It was a memorable experience to stay here and one that we really enjoyed! Thanks Paul!

We had a lovely week at the Forge, a really cosy and comfortable cottage in beautiful surroundings - Scamp and I enjoyed doing the perimeter walk mornings and evenings, watching the bluebells starting to bloom, and sometimes accompanied by the lovely Fauna! It was an ideal location for exploring the looped walks in the Slieve Bloom mountains, and I hope to come back to do some more of them in the future.

Thanks for a lovely week. I was on a course at the ETB in Athlone and it was very handy. It was full on, so it was lovely to get home in the evenings to a cosy apartment to chill out. Loved the chez longue. I fell asleep in it twice! And I did appreciate being escorted to my door each night by the canine welcoming committee, making sure I was settled 😍😍

This air bnb was perfect for what we were looking for. The cottage was very cosy and clean. Check in was easy and the host was great at responding to us. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Sean’s cottage is an amazing renovated cottage wit a truly high standard of work and planning, was warm cosy spotless clean wit beautiful little extras, perfect spot right in heart of country, a very reasonable priced unique cottage, which was a joy to come back to in evenings and relax, a rare find will be back

Peaceful quiet and comfortable.

Absolutely one of the best stays and experiences we’ve had! The views and walks are gorgeous, quiet, and peaceful. The house was clean and warmed quickly. The water was hot and the pressure was perfect. We had everything we needed! Do pickup a few basic groceries to have around, since towns are a little ways out— there is a bus stop about 1.5 miles from the property. John was wonderfully helpful and communicative!

Stayed with Margaret on Sunday after Tullamore show and it was such a unique and great stay. Wonderful hostess who made us feel right at home
