The Waternish peninsula offers abundant wildlife, and in the hamlet of Stein, next to the sea, a lovely old pub and a Michelin starred restaurant .

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It is warm and cosy to protect against the elements and yet light and airy. The cabin is accessed via a spectacular large undercover deck area.

Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Standing alone at the top of Braes in Ullapool it has a wonderful cosy feeling when wrapped up inside, offering out of the way tranquillity whilst still being able to enjoy the amazing scenery no matter what the weather conditions.
