A beautiful deck surrounds 1/2 the cabin/chalet and have the table set or cook on the grill while enjoying the sunset down on the NY /PA mountains. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cabin. Our cabin is ideal for a quiet get-away for hunting, hiking, shooting, snowmobiling, ATV/UTV riding, fishing & star gazing. The cabin is located in an area only accessible via dirt roads. It is about 1 mile to the northern boundary of the Tioga State Park; where exploring is wide open and snowmobiling is permitted in winter. If you want a quiet escape this is the place for you! No matter what you are into, Wellsboro offers it all - hiking, biking, kayaking, 60+ mile rail trail for riding bikes or cross country skiing, ski slopes, hunting/fishing, wine tasting and R&R.

The cabin also has a hot tub with a perfect view of the Creek. Black Bear Lodge is strategically situated- 15 miles to the PA Grand Canyon, 2 miles to downtown Galeton, and 20 miles to Wellsboro.

We normally ask for two nights- however, if you need one night ask & you can possibly snag this lovely place for one night! Light & Lovely Chateau is close to all of the favorite destinations in the northern tier of Pennsylvania including Mansfield University. We try to ensure guests have a wonderful experience!

Tioga's Peaceful Gem is a lovely rental located just 15 minutes from Pennsylvania's Grand Canyon, and a few miles bike ride from the Pine Creek rails to trails biking trail. Our home offers a master suite with an attached bathroom and a queen-sized bed, and two other bedrooms with queen-sized beds as well. There is another full bathroom, a laundry room, and a spacious, furnished kitchen filled with windows and natural lighting.
