Hillside's Rest Nest

When I refurbished the place, my aim was to create a place to relax, read or hideaway to focus on work. Located in the neighbourhood, where all the city life is just a 5-10 minutes walk away and at the same time, it does not feel as city at all as the forest and river walk is just around the corner. I am glad to share it with likeminded travellers and I will be glad to share all those little tips and tricks about places in Cesis, worthwhile to experience - from nature spots to cosy pubs :-)

Treehouse Čiekurs(cone) is located 3 km from city Cēsis,90 km from capital Riga and located in Gauja National Park,surrounded by the pine forest.A great place to enjoy nature at its city noise,no rush,just peace.The nearest shop ~3 km. Houses with an air conditioner(heating and cooling). WC located in the separate house on the ground.You can take sauna or hot tub (available for extra payment) and take a swim in the lake. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers.

Welcome to Rubini Holiday Cabin. Hot tub + 50 EUR per use, please let us know in advance. We are sure that holiday here will be an unforgettable event for you, your partner, family, friends and pets. Stay is set in the heart of Gaujas National Park, surrounded by its forests and rivers just a few kilometres away. We are in a friendly and quiet suburb Livi, exactly 4.5km from the city Cesis and 3.5km from the longest ski slopes in Latvia (Ozolkalns & Zagarkalns).

Die charmante Old Town Apartment liegt im Erdgeschoss eines historischen Gebäudes im lebendigen Herzen der Stadt, umgeben von Bars, gemütlichen Cafés und Außenrestaurants. Trotz der zentralen Lage bleibt die Wohnung ruhig und blickt auf einen schönen Innenhof. Gästen stehen zwei Fahrräder zur Verfügung, um die Stadt zu erkunden, historische Sehenswürdigkeiten zu entdecken oder malerische Touren entlang der Rad- und Wanderwege im Gauja‑Nationalpark zu unternehmen.

Essentially it’s Latvian Bathhouse with beautiful view to share with your close ones. If you want to you will have chance to experience traditional sauna (additional + 60 EUR, there is also outside hot tub available + 60 EUR and take a fresh swim in a clear pond next to bathhouse. Surrounding has view of a larger lake and if you like even take a boat ride or do fishing. Host house is 80 meters away, so you will be able to have your privacy. Experience Latvia!

Viesu mājiņa atrodas parka malā, apm. 100 m no peldvietas Pērsē un 800m no slavenajām Kokneses pilsdrupām. Vieta ir klusa un mierīga, taču apm. 10-15 minūšu laikā, pastaigājoties pa parku, var nokļūt krodziņā "Rūdolfs", lai tur baudītu garšīgu maltīti, vai aiziet/aizbraukt uz "Maximu", ja gribas pašiem gatavot viesu mājiņas virtuvē. Ir autostāvvieta un bērnu rotaļlaukums.

Relax with friends or the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Tens of hectares to enjoy nature surrounding - woods, meadows, lakes, hills. The host lives on a nearby ~30m country house. There are domestic animals to see around - goats, hens, cats.
