Located near the highest village in Britain, Flash, in the beautiful Peak District National Park, 1540 above sea level, in the winter we do get some snow, the Hay Loft has been designed to create a great base for exploring the countryside. On it’s doorstep are; Dragon’s Back Ridge, Chrome Hill, Axe Edge Moor and Buxton. We are only 30 minutes from Mam Tor, Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Curlews fly around the farm. Within a mile is Flash Bar Stores serving breakfast, lunch, cakes and groceries.

Our studio has been a complete labour of love and now we're finally ready to share this beautiful little spot. You can wake up and hike until your hearts content, take in the sights in town and end your day reclining on the sofa with a cosy pellet burner. We have ample parking, private entrance, walking distance (1.2miles) to town (bars & restaurants), bus stop to Buxton / Macclesfield. Wifi, Sky TV,Netflix. There is parking in front of the property and plenty of accessible on road parking to the rear. We operate a simple self check in system where the guest will be given a key code to access the property.

We are situated in the country village of Wormhill, Derbyshire, deep in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Closest towns are Tideswell and Buxton. We are very close to the Pennine Bridleway, Monsal Trail and Limestone Way.

Converted 1870s chapel. Renovated in August 2021. Well placed for trips into the Peak District or to Buxton; walking, climbing, and biking all close to hand . Outside is a large drive with CCTV and private seating area. Parking for 2 cars. Bicycle storage. Please read house rules before booking. We live at the rear in the adjoining church hall. Quiet guests appreciated.
