Our cosy, 1860's cottage has a self checkin entrance & sits in a private garden with views to the old barn. The living room, kitchenette, bedroom & bathroom make an ideal getaway for couples. Set on four acres, the property backs onto a treed area alongside the Werribee River. It has chickens & friendly alpacas to visit, but is a mere 5 minute walk into town. Ballan is the perfect base from which to explore Daylesford, Trentham, Blackwood, Creswick & Ballarat. All are within a 30 minute drive.

Talbot Cottage on Lerderderg

Talbot Cottage is a charming and centrally located cottage in the heart of Bacchus Marsh, with a short stroll to the Main St, shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and amenities. There is a bus stop nearby that services the town and the train station. Wifi available. This once farmhouse has just been lovingly restored in a sympathetic style. Perfect for a home away from home if travelling for work, couples for a cosy weekend and for travelling families. 1000 Steps and Lookout and Lerderderg Gorge.

Blackwood "Treetops"

An almost entirely open plan house with a vast master bedroom upstairs and a bunk room downstairs, the house sleeps up to six, with a modern kitchen, wood fire, outside deck and large garden, set close by the Wombat State Forest. Suitable for children over five. Pet friendly. Blackwood 'Treetops' is also work friendly as the house has a large desk with landline and internet access. Due to the coronavirus, we are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

The Chef’s Shed - a farm stay

Situated in "cool country" Trentham, the Chef’s Shed was originally built in 1860, and has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, spacious and unique place to stay. It has quirky living spaces, including a loft, and wide, stunning views over the land around, even from the private sauna which can be used for a modest fee. From here you can explore the region. We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes drive from historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.

Lovely Converted Train Carriage/ Garden Studio

Lovely rustic train carriage, built in 1914 and since converted into cosy and comfortable accomodation. The carriage accommodates one or two guests, with a queen size bed. Self sufficient, the carriage has a bathroom, microwave and small fridge. A private space, the carriage is nestled at the back of the property amongst the trees and garden. You will have direct access, with parking in the carport at the end of the driveway. Ballan train station is a 7 minute walk from the property.

Bacchus Marsh Villa unit 5

Our two bedroom villa is located on a block of 5 villas. It is situated approximately 10 minutes drive from Bacchus Marsh city centre. It is within 45 minutes from Daylesford, Ballarat and Geelong or the city of Melbourne. As you enter the hallway and the main area of our unit, comfort and warmth radiates. Offering two bedrooms with queen size beds a third single fold out bed is available on request. The bathroom offers bath and separate shower and a spacious living and dining area.

This is a truly unique experience of seclusion less than an hour from Melbourne. Feel the serenity with a drink on the deck. Let your kids roam free. Enjoy stunning views of Melbourne, the You Yangs, the White Elephant, and the Brisbane Ranges. Pack your hiking boots to explore our 260 acre farm, including private access to the Werribee Gorge State Park. Keep an eye out for kangaroos, wedge-tailed eagles, blue-tongued lizards, wallabies, echidnas and many other native critters.

"The Studio" - sauna, space and serenity.

"The Studio" is a spacious, peaceful and self-contained retreat with a large open plan dining/living space featuring an infrared sauna and two large bedrooms. Up to 5 beds are available (3 Queen and 2 King singles), a bathroom with bath and shower, a separate powder room/toilet and a laundry cupboard. Other features include a fully equipped kitchen, espresso machine, huge dining table, wi-fi, 75 inch TV, 3-seater sofas, books, DVD's, Table tennis, a BBQ, and a trampoline.
