The property is located on an ATV/UTV route & snowmobile trail. 1.5 miles to Mondovi, 3 miles to The Barn at Mirror Lake, & 11 miles to Barn Again Lodge. The area is known for great deer hunting. No hunting on site at this time. Public hunting nearby at BIG SWAMP WILDLIFE AREA. It is a spacious house to stay while visiting the Mondovi area.

The cabin is located a short distance (~0.25 miles) from Dead Lake. The property is located 7 miles from Durand, WI, and 14 miles from Pepin, WI. Durand is based along the Chippewa River and provides all the necessities for your stay.

We operate a coffee shop on the lower floor of the house on seasonal weekends so expect light noise after 7am (shop opens at 8 am) but come down for a complimentary coffee or tea and a homemade scone Saturday and Sunday morning subject to coffee shop hours.

The house is located a short walk to downtown with shops, restaurants and bars. The house is equipped to accommodate a working space for business travelers. The home is located 2 blocks from the "The Barn at Mirror Lake" wedding venue which can support groups and reunions. It is ideally suited for outdoor ethicists coming to Buffalo County. Please not this is the whole house.
