Simy was a great host! Very responsive & helpful. The place was incredible & the views were absolutely beautiful. Relaxing in the hot tub with the view was truly amazing & we cannot wait to visit again soon!

Loved staying here! It worked out great for our group of 9 friends coming together for a fun weekend on the coast. The hot tub was a great perk, and the beds were very comfortable. Worth noting that the single beds in the rooms w Queen beds are on the smaller side and tucked into old closets, so they're better suited for kids, but they still worked for us. Shelter Cove is a gorgeous spot and you can easily walk to Black Sands beach right from the house. kitchen was big and we'll out fitted, lots of comfy chairs for hanging and big tables for playing board games and family style meals. Would definitely stay here again! Jon and Katie were great hosts, always responsive with lots of local tips!

Joyce and Patrick are an absolute pleasure! They are the best hosts I’ve experienced on Airbnb. They are kind and friendly, very responsive and very accommodating. We arrived to a well stocked kitchen to get us started! The cottage is adorable, well maintained and spacious. We will definitely be back back!!

We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday and even though the weather was super rainy we still had the best time! We will definately be back to this rental with our kiddos. I usually dont expect great beds in rentals but omg...every bed here was amazing! I had coffee in and read my book every morning while soaking in the outdoor tub and the fire place table top was awesome to lounge around on the only day we had clear skys. We will definitely be back!

It was an absolutely perfect stay for me and my partner! The surroundings we beautiful and quiet and we absolutely loved the sweet dog that would visit us while we washed dishes at times.

A truly beautiful and comfortable place to stay near the Redwoods! Everything was so central to where we wanted to explore and the hosts were communicative. Thank you for a wonderful stay; would love to return in the future!

I'm a 72yo husband to a much younger woman of 69. There are amenities that are inconsequential for much younger travelors that matter moreso to the silver crowd. Understand that nothing I add here subtracts from the accommodations listed, they are only observations near and dear to weary geriatrics. The unit is up a flight of stairs that are attached to the exterior of the building. This is a non-issue to travelers younger than I. The bathroom has been meticulously remodeled. Shower has a wide entry door with a minimum of threshold so no stubbed toes. However, the large shower has no grab bars which is concerning when you can't open your eyes while rinsing or turning. I have found that not all commodes are the same height so be aware this unit has a very low landing height without a grab point to resurrect one to upright. Nonetheless, the unit remains a fantastic lodging experience and in no way should my observations deter an informed traveler from selecting Scott's great offering.

We had an absolutely amazing time at this airbnb! The location feels so private and has beautiful scenery. We would definitely want to visit again. The checkin was so easy and convenient with a number code to get in. Host was extremely friendly and responsive
