Our best winter (Christmas trip) yet! My family & I have been spending Christmas week in Tahoe for years and this home is the first property that we want to come back to again! It is a mixture of the listing is a home and has all the comforts of an actual home. The location is amazing for skiing, dinning, shopping and still being walkable to "backcountry" trails. Lel is an amazing host and her heart to serve is what makes staying there that much better. She really took care of us for some of our winter adventures! As an Airbnb host myself, Lel's place (including her as a host) is the full package!

I have to echo the other reviews: I stay in a lot of airbnbs, and this is one of the nicest ones I've ever stayed at. Every item, piece of furniture, and fixture was simply exactly where you expected it to be, and of very high quality. Total opposite of those Ikea special soulless spots that plague this app. It felt more like staying in a thoughtfully prepared guesthouse of a friend, if you were lucky enough to have a friend with such a place.

Cara’s place was amazing! Beautiful creek next to the cottage and close to lots of wineries and downtown Placerville. We especially liked the TV and how easy it was to watch our shows with the windows open and hearing the creek running in the background.

We spent a few nights at Tom and Margie’s lovely cottage with our dog. The place was just as pictured- adorable, clean, well- appointed. The fenced yard was a favorite - for us and our pup. The location is great and convenient to the lake. Would highly recommend!

Perfect place for a ski week! Sarah was very responsive and attentive, and the cabin was private and well-maintained. Could not have asked for a better location.

In most things, getting the details right, is difficult. Sarah knocked it out of the park. This place is so thoughtfully put together. From the well appointed kitchen, to the great bedding, and the clear instructions, this place was so welcoming and comfortable. The location is very private and peaceful. We enjoyed using this place as a base to do daily excursions to some great snowy places for snowshoeing. We said, multiple times this weekend to each other, “I love this place and we should come back here soon!”.

We will be back! Loved it so relaxing. We brought food to cook and enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen. Just remember to bring some oil. Great spot walkable to the state park and 1 min from the river. Nancy whom is the on site manager was wonderful.

Lindsay’s place is beautifully designed. As hosts and real estate enthusiast ourselves we were inspired by the layout and thoughtful touches. High quality bathrobes from Portugal, record player with a huge stack of music options, Casa Luna bedsheets and comforter. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a landing point before making their way to either Lake Tahoe or Yosemite. We got lost with our espressos peering out the floor to ceiling cabin window on to the trees! Thank you Lindsay!

I took a solo weekend trip with my dog to Grass Valley and Andrea’s cottage was all I could have needed and more! The space was pristine. The grounds were gorgeous. And the dog friendly suggestions were appreciated. We loved watching the birds and squirrels from the comfort of the cottage and taking walks around the peaceful neighborhood. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I think this is the fourth or fifth time we have stayed here. I kinda wanna keep it a secret. Perfect in all ways and just what I needed. Cheers!

Nice place, great location, and fun for the kids (with board games and arcade). The place was clean and spacious. Sharon is a great host. Will definitely rent out this place in the future.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage! JP and Tracy left us some light snacks and dog treats for our pup. It was such a warm welcoming! The cottage couldn't be a better location, it was exactly what we needed for a quick ski trip.

Easy to get to, only 1/2 hour from Sacramento right on the I 80. The house was very cozy and comfortable. It was within walking distance to trails and town. Big shout out to Jill the neighbor who was very friendly and helpful.

I loved my stay here, one of my favorite places. It was so beautiful, peaceful, quiet, cozy, clean, felt at home. I loved all the windows with light coming in, the views of nature and the simple interior that made it such a restorative space for me to have time to write, rest and be. Loved being able to go for walks, be in nature and surrounded by it. I hope to stay here again … lovely people and place.

Gorgeous cottage right next to Lava Cap winery. We felt right at home! Would definitely come back.

This is my second time at 309. The first was Feb 2020 and we all know what happened next, ha! I come up to NC and GV a few times a year and I've been trying to get into 309 ever since but no luck - super popular! But this time the stars aligned. Behind a door on a cute little street, 309 is def larger than pics show. For being in the middle of town there is a good sized outdoor space with fire pit, strung with white lights. Love that! Love the indoor fplace. Great linens. Love the basins in the bathrooms. Good shower. I liked looking at the stars from bed through the skylight. The artwork/decor/vibe is charming. Having your own parking spot in NC? Priceless! Walking the NID ditch looking out on miles of National Forest in the distance? Can't beat it! Breakfast at Communal Cafe; dinner at DaKan; ice cream at Treats; drinks at Golden Era. Shopping at JJJackson, Abstrakt, Earth Store, Spirit House. NC is a great getaway and 309 is the perfect launching pad, and homecoming.

I absolutely loved this place! I can't with my daughter and newborn and Kippy went out of her way to provide whatever we needed! the place is cozy and emacilate!I wish I lived there! Highly recommend! it had everything you'd ever need... totally stocked! would love to go back!

This cottage is a find! It’s just a five-minute walk from downtown, so you can easily explore the local restaurants and shops. The hosts, Shasta and Jen, are very friendly and helpful. Super responsive to any questions. Tasteful design, uncluttered, everything feels intentional and there’s lots of natural light. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook your own meals. They even have stocked cabinets with great spices and teas. We loved their space and felt at home, but more relaxing! It’s definitely one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in. If you’re ever in Nevada City, you should definitely check it out!

My recent stay at this AirBnB in North Lake Tahoe exceeded all expectations. The listing photos didn't do justice to how beautiful the place actually is. Everything was immaculately clean and well-maintained throughout our visit. Though the space might appear small at first glance, it's thoughtfully designed to include everything a family needs for a comfortable vacation. The host was incredibly receptive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering assistance whenever needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and had lots of fun in this cozy space. The location is unbeatable - just a 3-4 minute walk from excellent restaurants and ski rental shops, which made our daily activities incredibly convenient. Would love to visit again! This place provided the perfect base for our Lake Tahoe adventure.

Regarding Denise and Jim’s rental I would say that it was peaceful serene and a very picturesque place. I got to talk with Jim for awhile and he was courteous and very friendly. I picked a great place to spend 4 nights and 5 days there. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone who wants what I had while I was there.

Although we only live 20 minutes from the location, sometimes you really need to get away! It was an amazing trip and to my surprise, my fiancé proposed! Thanks again definitely a beautiful spot
