Absolutely wonderful stay!!! Thank you for a great time!!!

Our stay at this home was absolutely magical! The breathtaking views from every room and the infinity pool were beyond anything we could have imagined. Perched on a hillside with a sweet, cooling breeze, the setting was both peaceful and private while still being just minutes from beautiful beaches and local amenities.

Great beach house for big group! There’s 4 bedrooms (all with king sized beds & private baths) only 2 of the bedrooms are accessible from the main shared living quarters, other 2 rooms are only assessed by a digital coded door (1 is upstairs off the pool deck & the other is downstairs off the courtyard). Felt super safe due to coded doors. We weren’t advised that a security guard would be patrolling around the home at random hours so this frightened us at 1st when we saw him outside at night w/ a flash light but we were comforted by his presence once we realized he was patrolling for our safety. The trash cans are at the top of the hill & the beach is at the bottom of the hill, definitely recommend having a rental (car or golf cart) to access these. Host was super attentive both before & during our stay. Only complaints were the amount of bugs/crabs that were frequently inside the house & the dryer takes 2-3 times of running to get clothes dry. Overall great stay & would come back!

We stayed here for 4 nights. It had everything we needed, lots of space, clean, very private - really nice to have your own pool and patio area. The location is perfect - five minute walk to several good restaurants or a drive of no more than 10 minutes will give you a lot more options. Five minute walk to the beach. Or a 10 minute drive will get you to Playa Flamingo, one of the nicest beaches in the north Pacific CR. Our host kept me well informed and was always available to help. Overall it was a great experience, absolutely no complaints!

We had a lovely trip to Playa Flamingo and the house was as described and in photos. It is Not fancy but very functional and with a lovely view and a nice pool.There were a few small land crabs that would come in the house but otherwise it was pretty free of bugs; there were hardly any mosquitoes. We were visited by some iguanas and there are a few raccoons that like to visit the pool at night and leave little gifts on the patio and in the pool, but its Costa Rica... The pool and the balcony upstairs both had lovely breezes and were great for sitting out in the early mornings and evenings. No better place for a sunset than the upstairs. Not that we were around much in the evenings - the beach is wonderful and so closely so we were mostly out there. It was a lovely week and we very much enjoyed the home.

Everything was great. It’s actually on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. I think that should be made more clear. Not a big deal to me but for some people it could be. Otherwise, the team was responsive and ready if I contacted them and the view is great. Clean and very nice place.

El lugar con muy buena ubicación, tiene muy cerca una pequeña playa muy linda y va poca gente. Lo único que me gustaría se mejorara el tema de la lavadora y el check out es a las 10 am ( solicité ver si era posible salir al medio día y se me indicó que no; se comprende ). Lo que sí no me gustó es que a las 10:04 am me estaban tocando la puerta y era la muchacha de la limpieza.

¡Nuestra estancia en el hospedaje de Special Places en Playa Potrero fue genial! El apartamento está en excelentes condiciones, tiene todo lo requerido para cocinar, incluida una parrilla y de ser necesario también tiene las facilidades para lavar la ropa. La habitación es muy acogedora y el sofá cama en la sala muy cómodo para dormir. Fue muy agradable tener una piscina para refrescarse después de un día de playa. La ubicación no podría ser mejor, muy cerca de restaurantes, supermercados y la farmacia, a los cuales se puede ir caminando. A pesar de esta cercanía con el centro del pueblo, la calle sobre la que se ubica el hospedaje es muy tranquila y silenciosa, perfecta para una siesta a media tarde o una tranquila noche de sueño. También muy cerca están muchas playas encantadoras que pudimos visitar y Playa Potrero está a pocos metros de distancia. ¡Fue un gran acierto haber elegido este hospedaje!

Las Catalinas is a fantastic place to vacation. So many options for activities in a friendly setting. The condo was very clean and perfect for two people. Close to all amenities. Overall great experience considering the effort to create such a unique town designed with so much thought.

This was a great condo in a secure and well monitored gated community. Security staff were kind and friendly. The hosts, Special Places, were friendly, professional, informative and quick to respond to our many questions. House keeping was included but make sure to check when they're scheduled, they come early. The kitchen was well equipped with all the supplies one would need to feed 6 people. A Britta water filter and a variety of spices to cook with were also included. The apartment was nicely decorated with quality furnishing and clean, you could sense the pride of ownership. There were no funky smells that can be present in humid tropical environments with A/C. The beds and pillows were all very comfortable and the curtains were blackouts. The location was central to 4 pools and a hot tub. Restaurants and grocery stores were also conveniently located within easy walking distance. We would not hesitate to come here again and would highly recommend Pacifico and Special Places

Awesome place. Very spacious rooms, super clean, quiet and private. Me and my family had a great vacations there. Highly recommended for a family of 5 or 6 members. We will return for sure!

We really enjoyed our short stay here! The view was amazing and we had everything we needed, with clear instructions from the host and well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The kids LOVED the pools and the friendly staff. We had a great time watching birds on the balcony, spending time on the beach and eating at restaurants close by. The grocery store on site was very handy. Overall, a great experience and we wished we could have stayed longer!

This place is really well equipped, spacious and has a great pool! Close to the center, and shopping centers... completely walkable! I would love to come back in the future!
