My children and I had a staycation with our two dogs. Life is busy and stressful right now, the kids loved it so much they wanted to live there! We cooked, watched TV and enjoyed time together like a home away from home. The park nearby is amazing and the fenced yard is beautiful. A heads up about a difficult neighbor, I suggest hitting record on your phone as soon as any verbal altercation begins. It’s completely out of the host’s control, but the neighbor clearly takes issue with Airbnb guests and may want to make trouble. We only had one interaction, but it was enough to cause us a little worry.

We really enjoyed our stay! The fully fenced yard was perfect for our dog, and the house was super clean and comfortable. The location was great — close to everything. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touches like having coffee and a well-stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was amazing and so well decorated, we all felt at home right away. It had everything we needed and more. If we are ever in the area again we will definately stay here if it's available. Thank you for being such a wonderful host!!

Very clean, well appointed property. Quiet neighborhood. it was close to I-35. There was a nearby Walmart and gas. Very good experience- I will consider this rental if I am in the area again.

Emily was very responsive and accommodating! Her home was beautiful and very clean, which made us feel right at home. It is located in a very quiet area, but just a short drive from downtown restaurants. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area!

This home is in a quiet neighborhood with lots of nearby places to walk to. We were in town for a graduation and it fit our needs well. I recommend future guests bring an eye mask due to ambient light from outside at night and bright sunshine in the mornings. We had some and were glad we did. Overall this is a great place, centrally located and good for groups.

We enjoyed our stay in this historic home! The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. The old downtown Shawnee area had several great restaurants to choose from. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal. The attic decor was fun and it was a great location to watch a movie. Overall great stay!

Met some friends for fun weekend. The place was perfect for our stay. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Chris was an excellent host, provided detailed directions on accessing the garage and check in process. The place is nicely decorated and well equipped, with great views and very quiet on our floor. Everything was smooth and we enjoyed our time there. Thanks for a great weekend!

Great Stay, Great Location… No complaints at all. If I had any complaints, it would be that the bed is overly soft; but that’s someone’s preference. I would definitely book with Savannah again when I’m in KC, if available.

Very awesome spot. Me and my friends only stayed a night but it was the perfect choice. Private and even more comfortable and cozy than the photos let on. I didn’t cross paths with the owners but my friends did and they said they were super nice and kind. I’ll definitely book again next time I need to be down in the city

This was my second stay with Jaymi and I'm sure I'll be back when visiting KC. The space is comfortable, clean, and bright. It really feels like staying in your own shabby-chic apartment and the location is perfect for getting to lots of KC destinations. Add in blooming lilacs in the spring and front-porch cats to pet and it was the perfect place to stay for our concert at the Uptown.

Very nice place to stay. We stayed here because we were seeing a concert at the TMobile center. It was an easy walk. The hosts left some thoughtful snacks as well. 100% recommend and can't say enough about this place. Loved it

The place was cozy and very welcoming. Loved how clean! Was not only beautifully decorated but also very functional.

Denise's place was the perfect spot for us while in town for the Big 12 basketball tournament. Easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. The location offered nice, easy parking, and Denise's directions for arriving were very clear and easy to follow. Denise was very friendly and communicated very proactively, even taking time to give us a quick tour as we arrived. The space was perfect for what we needed; two comfy beds, a very tidy bathroom and kitchen, a living room area and very neat decor throughout. What more could you need! We will definitely look to stay again when in Kansas City.
