When you close your eyes and envision the perfect house in the mountains for you and 9 of your friends, it’s actually this house, bobbing up and down, waiting to open its doors to you. Hot damn, we loved staying here. 🤠🤠🤠 This is a great place for a large group and would be great to enjoy with kids, too. So much space and almost everyone had their own bathrooms. We loved the open layout, huge kitchen and dining room table. Beautiful fireplaces in the living room and primary bedroom were a mountainy treat. Location is fantastic and only 10 mins to downtown Truckee (our favorite Tahoe town with great restaurants and nightlife). We had plenty of room for 5 or 6 cars including the garage area. The hot tub on the porch was used multiple times a day and we just really enjoyed the home. Matt was a great host. He was super responsive and helpful throughout. We appreciated having shampoo and conditioner in the showers, extra toilet paper etc. thank you Matt!! 🎿

Large house with nice amenities. Very clean. Everything has been well taken care of throughout the years. We arrived at probably the hottest day of the year but the house was cool and nice. Parents enjoyed the walk around the golf course. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to cook a lot of food. Just note that the house actually has 4 bedrooms, all of which you can fully close the door and have privacy so the description is inaccurate but in a humble way.

Great place to stay! Quaint and quirky cabin with lots of good puzzles. We had a great time weathering an atmospheric river with friends. Halsey was so responsive and accommodating - best I’ve ever seen in a host. And Phoebe the dog loved it 😍

This is a great house for a family getaway. We like to come here as a three-family group for cousins snow play and this is the perfect house. Both times we have stayed we have been able to make a sled hill in the backyard that keeps the kids entertained for hours. There are two shovels on site to help with this. The yard is open with plenty of space for all kinds of play including snowball fights. The house is warm and inviting with the perfect amount of decor - no clutter. The open kitchen and large table makes family meal prep and eating comfortable and enjoyable and there is lots of hangout space in the living room. We particularly enjoy the chess table. The bedrooms are perfect - clean and comfortable. There are extra towels in the laundry room and laundry essentials are available for doing laundry. We really enjoy this location and highly recommend.

Beautiful home in Tahoe Donner. Home was perfect for our large family. Bunk room is perfect for the kids and pilot space for the adults. Open kitchen, living area was perfect for everyone to spend time together. Jason was a great host. Would definitely stay there again.

We greatly enjoyed our ski weekend at Michael and Christina's place. They are very thoughtful hosts, and their home is incredibly comfortable. It was the perfect place to stay four our group.

Wonderful home for our extended family ski vacation. Even larger than we expected (and needed), clean, great amenities, well maintained and easy 20 min drive to Alpine. Highly recommended for a group vacation to Tahoe. Loved our stay and would definitely return again if possible.

Could not have had a better experience! Meridith was very proactive and answered almost immediately when we had questions. The location of the house in the Tahoe-Donner is great for walks and hikes without having to drive. We will be back soon!

Was a perfect place for our golf group. We had a great time and Walt was an exceptional communicator and host. Cant wait to go back next year!

Loved the space, love the town, would definitely recommend to anybody who loves mixing luxury with nature.

The stay was wonderful - we felt right at home. Host contacted us proactively the day before with instructions, and was very responsive to feedback. The backyard was large and the kids really enjoyed tramping around in the snow. The house was clean, everything was quiet, and the bed and linens were very comfortable. There is a large foyer for drying snow gear, etc. Access to the garage also really helped us to be able to put on snow chains and store some ski gear. There were also sleds available for the kids to play in the snow, as well as shovels to help keep the driveway clear.

Great stay! The house has a well stocked kitchen and is overall very well appointed. We were very comfortable and plan to stay here again in the future!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Janet’s place. It was peaceful, relaxing, beautiful and comfortable. The home was spotless and well equipped with everything our family of five needed. We cooked many of our meals at the cabin. The location is minutes from Graeagle and is located on the Feather River. There are many places to sit and relax around the property and on the banks of the river. The indoor and outdoor furniture were both comfortable and plentiful (we don’t always find this). We could see the care and intention with everything in and around the cabin. Our family enjoyed the deck in the morning and evening and had wonderful meals and game time at the large dining table. It was a very hot during part of our stay (we stayed for five days) and there were fans in all rooms; the cabin stayed nice and cool. Janet and Kristin were always responsive and helpful. We highly recommend and hope to return soon.

We loved our stay in Truckee! Lots of fun things to do and so beautiful in the winter. The house was cozy as described in the listing and met our simple needs perfectly. Robert was very accessible and responded in a timely matter to any questions we had.

Our families had a fantastic Christmas holiday here! The house was perfectly cozy, with plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 kids to spread out and relax/play. The house was well stocked with fun toys and amenities (step stools! baby gate! high chair! diaper pail!) that made our stay with young kids ((1, 2, and 5yo) much easier, safe, and comfortable. Kids had plenty of fun stomping in fresh snow outside the house, and beginner ski and tubing options close by. With inclement weather on our departure day, Sarah very quickly helped us extend our stay an extra night. We really appreciated an extra snow day and a much easier travel day back home. Dreaming about coming back in the summer!

Everything was in good shape! We could tell the home was well loved. It was very convenient for the downhill slopes at Tahoe-donner, and had plenty of games / entertainment options inside, as well as enough space, to handle time indoors. Would recommend, especially for any families with kids.

The house is everything one might need for a great ski vacation in the locations of Donner (4min drive) /Boreal (18min drive). New, modern appliances make it easy to wash/dry the clothes, cook in a fully equipped kitchen and of course - the cherry on top - the jacuzzi in the back. Everything is in pristine condition and perfect order. We've enjoyed the collection of the books and the board games. The kids loved the physical DVDs. The central heating and the thermostat-controlled fireplace worked great and kept the family warm and cozy. The area is very quiet and the eclipse blinds allows us to sleep in. Thank you Michael!
