Idyllic setting with private hot tub, decking area and gas barbeque to enjoy lovely romantic evenings. Hot tub cleaned between every client with fresh water. Alder Cottage is a self contained annex with off street parking with space for one (or two) cars. Set in a peaceful, rural location 100meters from a small nature reserve. Whether you need a base for a weekend or short break. This location offers many options for exploring the local area either by walking or cycling. SELBY is 5 miles and York 15 miles away. The annex is a 5minute walk from the village of Hambleton where there are two local pubs one of which has an excellent all day menu.

The property is a beautiful maisonette at Station House, an iconic grade 2 listed former railway station built in 1841 .The history of the building can still clearly be seen; indeed your accommodation is in the old waiting rooms overlooking the station platform. Tours of the rest of the site may be available on request, including the old goods shed. Guests have access to the public footpath/cycle way adjacent to the property along the old railway line.
