Familienfreundliche Ferienunterkünfte in Port Erin

We stayed here for nearly 3 months and it was a charming and cosy home-from-home for us and our elderly dog while we awaited some renovation works on our own house. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed for a long stay - including an enclosed garden, washing machine and tumble dryer. It’s a really super location - It’s off the main road and quiet, there’s a well-stocked shop/post office, great pub food and safe dog walking paths all close by. We arrived at about 6am but access was easy and we found bread milk etc had been left for us. The owners responded quickly when contacted, were very helpful and friendly.

A fantastic stay in a beautifully designed Airbnb! The location was perfect—peaceful yet just a short distance from all the amenities we needed. What really stood out was the exceptional quality of the fixtures and fittings, as well as the thoughtful design details that made the space both stylish and comfortable. The owner, who lives in the adjoining part of the accommodation, was incredibly helpful and responsive while always respecting our privacy. Highly recommend for a relaxing and high-quality stay!

Ellie's cottage has a long, beautiful and encouraging history (you can read about it in a documentary notebook by the window). It makes you feel privileged to have a chance to stay there. In addition to the rich stories, you may be surprised by many small details inside. Just to name a few: (i) the hob in the kitchen is an elegant induction hob that is both gorgeous and powerful; (ii) all possible types of plates, pots, cutleries, cooking tools, etc. are provided, potentially going beyond your imagination for many times during your stay; (iii) the separate game room, the existence of which astonished me already, contains many unique gaming options that may or may not be easily found on the market, including the Isle of Man edition of Monopoly. In addition to the exceptionally well presented cottage, the host Ellie and her family are extremely nice and helpful: extra flexible check-in, extra detailed information about every aspects of your stay, plus lost and found! Highly recommended!

WOW what a week we had at the lighthouse - A sheer wondrous spectacle standing proud on the headland as we sailed into the harbour ! We were met by Nikki at the house who has been fantastic throughout our stay. The house was absolutely brilliant with incredible views from every window! It was remarkably spacious and room for everyone beautifully decorated and well equipped - we wanted for nothing and had to pinch ourselves that we were staying there it was such a privilege! Nikki, Richard and the team went above and beyond to welcome our family and we really appreciated everything ! We had a glorious week of sunshine but it’s a place that gives you drama whatever the weather ! The dolphin jumping clean out the water while we were looking out of the kitchen window was a sight to be hold! We had family from 6 years to 69 and all had a phenomenal holiday - we hope to return - it’s a great base to tour the IOM - so many memories made in a really special unique place - Awesome!

Amanda is the perfect host and very obliging and understanding of changing situations. The house was absolutely perfect! It had everything you could possibly need and plenty of space which was ideal for us (3 adults, 2 teenagers, a 4 year old and a 5 month old!) It meant there was space to be together but also gave us our own space. Lovely little walk down to the Mooragh Park (one of my childhood favourites). Also, easy walking distance to the beach and the shops/eating places. We will definitely stay here again next time we are over in the IOM. Thank you Amanda!

Stayed for 3 nights. Lovely apartment. Clean and in great condition. Everything you could need. Secure underground parking for the 5 motorbikes. Host met us and showed us where everything was and nice friendly guy. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful location overlooking the ferry terminal. Easy walk to quayside and promenade. Easily accessible parking space immediately outside the door. Although there are 4 single beds in the upper floor, they are very comfortable and the room is airy and spacious. Excellent shower room on each level. This was our first trip to IOM, and we found this a perfect base from which to explore. It depends on the makeup of your group whether a double downstairs and 4 singles upstairs, all rather open plan, will work for you. Hope to return to IOM in the future and will try to book the Boathouse again.

Judith’s apartment was exactly as described and better. The location was fantastic and the views across the beach and sea were stunning. Being so central meant that walking to bars and restraints was easy if that’s what you want. There was plenty of on road and private parking which was great. The apartment is completely sound proof, peaceful, warm and very comfortable. We were on the island for my mums funeral, going back to such a homely place helped make things a bit easier. Judith was a lovely host, very helpful. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend. This was my first time using Air BB and it was brilliant. I’ll use them all the time from now on. 10 out of 10 stay 😊
