It is perfectly situated to explore this attractive harbour village and other local attractions in Galloway. Whether you want to walk, cycle, explore or just relax, our cottage offers the perfect home from home.

The romance, splendour and variety of landscapes to be found in Galloway lies at the door of The Old Servants’ Hall. For couples or individual explorers (and dog), this beautifully restored, cosy apartment is an ideal retreat for escaping the rat race. A restful and luxurious base from which to reach the coast, rolling hills, forest and mountains. You may be tempted to stay indoors, curl up in front of the wood burning stove, and explore the well stocked bookshelves. Servants not included.

Seaside home-from-home, tucked away at the back of the village, 7 minutes walk to the shore. (Slower coming back!) Walk to the Post Office, bakers, cafe, pubs, restaurants, gift shops. Hide away, walk the cliffs and glen, swim, golf, putt, fish, cycle. Enjoy dark skies. Explore Mull of Galloway, our many gardens, beaches, lighthouses. Day trip to Wigtown book town, Kirkcudbright artists town, Castle Douglas food town. Walk the Southern Upland Way or cycle the 250 mile coast to coast route.

Oak Tree Hut

Unfortunately no dogs/children/infants are allowed. Oak Tree Hut is situated on our working sheep farm in Dumfries and Galloway. The views from the hut looks over St John’s Town of Dalry and up onto the Rhinns of Kells. Lie in bed watching the sunrise and sit on the verandah or soak in the outside bath while watching the sunset. Watch the bird life and livestock peacefully fly and amble by. The hut has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

Seaview Cottage I. with HOT TUB & SAUNA

The cosy cottage provides perfect accommodation for up to 4 people. You can enjoy the spa pool, sauna, and paddle boards whilst experiencing breath-taking views. The cottage is located a stones throw from the beach, with stunning views looking over Strangford Lough and the Mourne Mountains. Only 5 minutes walk is the village of Kircubbin, where there are pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. With the water so close, wake up to the sounds, views & smell of the sea.

Cosy Groundfloor Flat

The flat has been newly refurbished and offers a quiet, secluded retreat while still being just a stone’s throw from all local amenities. The garden seating provides stunning views overlooking the harbour and across the sea to Ireland. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, take in the scenery and relax. I’ve also provided a little bistro set, at the front of the flat, which gets the sun all day and also has views down to the harbour.

This is a bespoke Shepherd's Hut designed for a couple or a singles, set in a 12 acre ornamental garden with Sea Views & Lakes. Close to beaches, Golf, Fishing, and the attractive seaside village of Portpatrick, ferry to Belfast & Larne (6 ) at Cairnryan. Stranraer ( 7) miles with all facilities. In the cooler months the wood burner heats up, and wood provided. Dogs can be off leash on Moorland..

Soak in the views of the Isle of Arran whilst you soak in your private wood-fired hot tub. Our Eden pod is compact, cosy and comfortable. It sleeps 2 people and comes with a smart TV and Wi-fi. A two ring hob, a kettle and a toaster. Inside is open plan but cosy with a king-size bed, armchair and settee and kitchen area. The bathroom contains a toilet, sink and shower.
