The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It has been completely redone and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with beautiful views. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

Don’t stay cooped up in a hotel or private room. Get your nature fix staying here at Spring Haven Farm. Enjoy a great view of the pond in all its wonder and night sounds. Above will be the beautiful night sky - with no street lights. Fully-equipped kitchen, or cook outdoors on the provided charcoal grill. Queen bed in bedroom, 2 futons in LR opens to sleep four and a queen air mattress can be called upon to sleep two more. Children under 12 years of age stay free.

Woodhaven Farm is a beautiful 250-acre working cattle farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, 26 miles south of Charlottesville in Scottsville, VA. Woodhaven Farm is a working farm producing 100% grass-fed beef. Surrounded by rolling meadows and woodlands, the farm is quiet and wonderfully isolated yet close to many of the attractions that make Virginia a desirable place to visit. Hike, explore, swim in the pond, fish, collect eggs and feed the chickens.

Great cottage nestled in the mountains on 63 wooded acres with barn, spring house and main house. Cottage has fireplace with first ring of logs provided. Two Smart TVs , VCR and DVD player with tapes and DVDs provided. Large deck and patio furniture off the living room with private woodland views and a babbling brook. Outdoor fire pit also provided. Close to Fallingwater, Ohiopyle and Seven Springs. Pet friendly (up to 2) and beautiful hiking trails in our woods.

Manor House at Wolftrap Farm: Escape the City

Our 1856 Manor House is at the center of our 600-acre working horse & cattle farm. The mountain views are wonderful. The interior was professionally decorated, and is gorgeous but homey. Hot tub, Game Barn, swimming hole, fishing ponds, miles of hiking on farm roads and woodland trails. Pet the horses, watch the cows, sip wine as the sun sets over the mountains.
