I loved the location as I am a huge coffee fan! There is a also a friendly local bar within walking distance. Its everything I need in the morning as well as what I want after a long day at work!

Nice and cozy finished studio apartment above a garage. Nice amenities, clean place and quiet location. Stayed one night this time; stayed several nights a year ago. Would recommend this place for anyone needing a short stay in thr area.

My friend and I had a great 4 day stay at the carriage house apt. The location is perfect for getting to Lower Town in one direction and restaurants in the other direction. From lower town it was easy to take the fast and free shuttle to the National Park. We had different parking options for our vehicles - one at the apt and one very nearby. All in all we had a great stay and highly recommend Shawn’s unit.

The place was as described and a very comfortable lay out of furniture.

Amy was fantastic, friendly, and efficient. The place was quaint and clean. Loved the sweet treats that Amy left for us. Kitchen was very well stocked. Linens were better than in most places I have stayed. Communication with Amy was easy. Gave us a newsletter for area activities. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Hosts were very kind and responsive, place was clean and proximity to Spooky Nook was an A+!! My daughter crashed on the couch and said she slept amazing! We even fit in a couple games of pool…total bonus! Only bummer was the blinds don’t block out the light much so when the sun rises, she’s gonna say hello to you too since it is one large space, but it didn’t phase my daughter a bit. Maybe just throw a sleep mask in your bag😊. Added tip…go to Jake’s On Main for breakfast!

I absolutely loved the studio. The bed was very comfortable. The decor was modern but cozy. Everything we needed in the kitchen was supplied. Bathroom was fully stocked. They were very easy to communicate with. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The layout is super funky, but it is way bigger than the pictures can convey. Our toddler loved the books, toys, backyard, and especially the giant shower room! We are locals who were having work done on our house, and so we really appreciated that there were so many places to WFH - 2 actual desk spaces, as well as the wonderful big dining table and benches. This place is so light filled, and the trees and skylights just made it so homey and cozy. Would absolutely stay here again!

The property is located in a beautiful, quiet, tree lined street off on 14th St NW, where there are many shops, bars and restaurants. The bus stop is about a 5 minute walk and the U St subway is around a 10 minute walk away. The host provided tea and coffee, snacks and instant oats as well as some fresh fruit. Fresh flowers were a nice touch. The property, towels and linen was very clean. I highly recommend this property. Also the host communicates well and is responsive if you have any questions.

Place was nice and comfy. Not too far from the mall and was very spacious inside the apartment.

Hilda is the most accommodating host ever. The best choice was choosing her home for our stay. We will be back!
