Here we have enjoyed unforgettable vacations with our kids...countless day trips to the nearby Mayan ancient ruins, fishing trips, snorkeling and scuba diving in the amazing coral reef, the enigmatic Laguna de Bacalar, swimming at the Cenote Azul, etc. Our house is in the Mahahual area known as "Casitas"... restaurants, coffee shops, bakery, laundry, atm, internet cafe, pharmacy, medical center and small stores are all nearby.
