The location of this home in Kingston is just breathtaking. The lake, the mountains, the quaint little town -- all of it is perfect. It is a 45-ish minute drive from Queenstown, but that was a plus for us as we had day trips planned to Milford Sound and Invercargill. Plus, the drive to Queenstown is so beautiful. The house was very clean and cozy. We made ample use of the washing machine (which conveniently has a dryer option as well). I would highly recommend a stay at Ian's.

Old Man Vineyard Cottage.

The cottage is part of a working vineyard, and one finds serenity and feels restful. It is exactly as described. Jen was a wonderful and thoughtful host -- she was responsive, esp. when we brought to her attention small glitches that are bound to happen despite the best of intentions, and she promptly help us to take care of the small glitches and even added a surprising personal touch to make our stay that much more enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay; we got to explore the Central Otago wineries, and got to enjoy the sunset at the cottage sitting on the porch in the back. Jen's cottage is between Alexandra and Clyde, and within short driving distance to some great wineries and to other parts of Central Otago. I find Alexandra an easy and pleasant city to shop for produce if needed. I look forward to staying with Jen again if I visit Central Otago in the future.

We highly recommend Andrina’s beautifully renovated home by the beach at Kaka Point. The house was as described, pristinely clean, modern yet with a sense of history, tastefully decorated with an attention to detail. The views were sensational and the whole place had a sense of calm. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen fitted out with modern new appliances. Andrina was quick to respond with needed.

Magical loft among the trees - Homewood Retreat

It’s not often I’m lost for words. What an incredible, magical property. It’s very private, hidden amongst the trees. The architecture is something else - absolutely unique and rustic. Lots of intriguing details and a wonderful leather couch draped with sheepskins. The lovely hosts were super welcoming. We enjoyed exploring the property.

We absolutely loved our stay! The unit was clean, has stunning views and was very peaceful and relaxing! We really appreciated the kitchen being stocked with fresh milk, orange juice and muesli! It was lovely to come back to a spa at the end of the day after adventuring around The Catlins. Thank you Lisa :)

Denise's place was absolutely marvelous. It was bigger than expected. Such a shame that we came during gloomy weather. Else you could definitely see the beautiful night sky with no light pollution around. Everything else was just perfect!

Absolutely stunning Airbnb and a beautiful experience overall. I recommend this place as highly as anywhere I’ve ever stayed!! It was HUGE!! So spacious yet so comfy and had a really nice, cozy vibe for our autumn visit. The animals are all a huge plus. Felt like such a dream to wake up to those Highland Cows in the paddock!! We had a wonderful stay. The well-equipped, modern house is in a perfect, peaceful location, close to many beautiful walks and cycle trails. Was the perfect house to accommodate my son & wife, brother & wife to celebrate my 70th birthday. Everything we needed for drinks in the evening either on verandah or inside And a great kitchen, table, glasses, a variety of different sized serving dishes for sharing both formal & informal meals. Beds very comfortable as were bathrooms.
