Great place to stay in Aurora, MN.

What a cute little spot- two pristine bedrooms and swans nearby! It was a lovely quiet night of dinner in, with a cute well appointed kitchen - and a super sweet breakfast of fresh fruit and banana bread! 10/10 will be back again!

My family and I had such an incredible stay at Jennifer’s lake house. It was the perfect combination of spacious, cozy, and private for us to spend our Christmas week there. The location and wintry weather had us feeling like we were in a snow globe. The house was even decorated for the season, and had more than enough room for the group we had. Makes me excited for the summer months, as I would absolutely book here again!

Beautiful home with a beautiful view. We had a great time fishing, eating at various places and traveling the North Shore.

Super beautiful home and seemed to be brand new. Great location by giants ride. Had all accommodations needed (a meal we were cooking needed a Dutch oven so we brought one ourselves and sure enough they even had one there). Only thing to note is that noise travels well throughout the home so if some people want to go to bed early you almost have to send the rest of people to the garage to not be able to hear convos. Such a small thing though and overall 10/10 place.

We stayed with family for ice fishing vacation. We had such a good time. Favorite part is all the fish we caught and the easy access to drive onto the lake. Very clean. Would visit again.

What a picturesque serene setting right on the water. Easy access to Voyageurs, Ranier and International Falls. Layout of the house was great (split bedrooms) for privacy. Beds were very comfortable. The entire house was spotless. Mark was super responsive in answering questions. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Beth’s place was a wonderful little break for us. The lake and surroundings were peaceful and beautiful and the cabin was the perfect spot for my busy family of 6! The tree swing and hammocks were a huge hit with my kids and we even braved a canoe ride with a few of them. 😂 We loved sitting out at the fire at nights and having fun s’mores. Beth was super responsive and very accommodating and had some great recommendations for fishing and local places to visit. House was very well stocked, with extras in the kitchen and bedrooms and she even had rain jackets we could use if needed! We will definitely come stay again!

Great place. Very close to where I come to town to work. Has everything you’ll need. Nice and warm. Usually quiet but if the upstairs neighbors are movin around you’re definitely gonna hear them. Otherwise it’s perfect!

Perfect stay for our trip! The kids loved the hot tub. We knew the people in the other unit, so it was awesome! We had a great time!

How fun! This basement apartment was spacious with several sleeping quarters, full kitchen, and full bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the space gets very dark for good sleeping, and we enjoyed the common space living room/kitchen. The decor was really creative. It is a basement and we stayed on the 4th of July, so we did not experience the quiet hours, but the whole fun little town was alive and having fun that night, so no concerns. If quiet is a must, basement apartments are not the way to go and we know and are ok with that, but if you’re not, this is something to avoid. The kitchen is stocked, but only for a couple people, so bringing paper products is helpful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

We decided to try out Crane Lake for our yearly fishing trip; we had a blast!! Emily was a great host! Recommendations on where to get fishing boats from and was very fast to respond to any and all of our questions. The trip up to Kettle Falls was a lot of fun and just amazed how much water there is and how much there is to explore. We stayed for five days and didn’t even make a dent in exploding of all the water, and we were out for 8-10ish hours fishing every day! The house was great! So peaceful and relaxing to sit outside and watch all the bald eagles and other wildlife. The stars are amazing when you have a clear sky. Everyone is so friendly all around the lake. We will definitely make the long trip back up to explore more of the lake and get more fishing time in on the lakes!! Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy such a wonderful experience!! 😊😊

We had a lovely stay. The temperature inside was easy to control. Nice and cozy. Loved the notes everywhere- they were clear and concise instructions. Really appreciated that. Lots of extra blankets. Beautiful view of the lake. Made a sketch of the lake. Cozy everything. Thank you for letting us stay and unwind.

Great cabin — comfortable, clean, quiet. Well-appointed kitchen. Nicely decorated interior. Spacious rec room with a very large screen TV. Easy access to boat dock. Mike, the owner, was staying in another cabin close by, he was extremely helpful and friendly. The cabin itself is in the community of Crane Lake, on the water. It sits in a row of similar cabins. A small store (fisherman-oriented) and couple of bar/restaurants are nearby, easily walkable. We used this as a base for day trips (hiking and canoeing) into Voyageurs NP and the Boundary Waters. You can also walk to and hike the Vermillion Gorge Trail from the cabin — recommended.

Awesome place, nice and close to Red Lake. Secluded, clean, and easily accessible!!

This cabin was so quiet and peaceful! It was right on the water which we enjoyed. We were in process of moving and this was the perfect place to get a little rest in. The screened in porch was perfect for coffee or an evening listening to the water.

Hidden Minnesota gem. The place is even better than the photos. Serene, extremely tranquil. Beautiful lake and lots to do for kids and adults equally. Love coming back to this place.

We were very pleased with our stay. The cabin is adorable with plenty of space around it. After reading a few reviews about the train tracks being so close I was a little concerned about safety and noise. Once we arrived I noticed that safety was not an issue as a river (stream) is located between the property and the tracks. The train runs through frequently but it didn't have a negative impact on our stay and we live in the country with no trains. Randy was very pleasant to work with and I can't say enough good things about our stay. it was a perfect fit!
