Joan is a wonderful host and her home is beautiful and exactly what we needed. Perfect location and lots of good food and activities around the area. If we had any questions, Joan was quick and responsive. We’re so very thankful and we hope to stay again in the future!

This Airbnb was truly one of the best experiences I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how impeccably clean and well-organized everything was. It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into every detail. The space felt like a perfect blend of comfort and style, with each item carefully chosen to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Jacqueline, the host, was absolutely wonderful. She was so warm and thoughtful, always quick to respond to any questions and went out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed. Her kindness really made the stay feel personal and special. The location of the property couldn’t have been better, offering easy access to everything I wanted to explore, yet still offering a peaceful retreat when I returned. I honestly can’t wait to come back. This place exceeded all expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, thoughtfully curated stay with an amazing host.

Located in a beautiful grove of oak trees, with privacy and peaceful surroundings. Inside, Colleen and Wayne have thought of just about everything! We couldn’t have asked for a better long weekend. They were incredibly responsive and helpful through our stay.

We have stayed here twice now and have loved each trip. Wonderful space, inside and out. Quiet, beautiful, and functional. We did a lot of cooking and if the kitchen didn’t have what we needed there are great stores near by. Next time we’ll need to explore the vineyards as well!

Beautifully appointed home with comfortable furniture and plenty of quality kitchen cookware and tools. The location was great—close to everything we needed. We found the space very comfortable and well-suited for six people. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again!

I’ve stayed here twice and both times were excellent. It’s extremely private and has a pretty view. It’s pretty easy to find as well. I would definitely recommend!

My family and I recently stayed here for a San Diego trip and it was perfect! It is in a great location since we had seaworld in our plans it was about a 8-10 minute drive so it was nice and easy and little Italy is blocks away so you can always find some good food close by. House was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood so it was nice to sit outside in the evening. Tv’s and games for the kids so it was enjoyable for everyone. They have QR codes around the house in case you need to find something or use an amenity. Easy check in and check out and the staff was easy to communicate with through text. I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

This property served us well during our week in San Diego with our daughter. We were able to make simple meals in the well-stocked kitchen, enjoyed lots of time in the yard and hot tub, and had our morning coffee and evening cocktails in the comfortable chairs in the front portico. The house borders a lively neighborhood, which means lots of people passing by throughout the day, but there’s a great privacy fence and lots of lovely foliage all around the house. We went to many fantastic restaurants, most of them recommended by Ricardo. (Be sure to get brunch at The Great Maple and dinner at Herb & Wood and coffee and pastries from Bread & Cie. Everything we wanted to do was an easy drive from the house, especially Balboa Park (arrive early if you want a chance at parking a car). In short, this is a nice, safe place to stay in San Diego.
