The host was very responsive. We left the keys inside and slammed the door. We were helped very quickly. The hot tub is pleasant and very private, you just have to find the right setting. The apartment deserves a little renovation for the bathroom and the outlets. It remains pleasant and the bed is comfortable!

It was a convenient location for the Vestmannaeyjar Islands (Heimey) and other attractions along the N-1 - Skogafoss, the plane on the beach at Solheimandur, Reynisfjara, etc. Also not a bad drive to Reykjadalur. It was lovely to also feel so out-of-the way and quiet in the evenings after long days of sightseeing.

Cabin was in great shape, great location and easy to get to.

We had our last 2 nights stay at this place in Iceland and had a nice closure to our trip. It felt so much like home with what it offered us such as clean kitchen and bathroom, comfortable bed and amazing view outside of windows. It’s a place to have a peaceful rest while being close to the attractions. Would love to stay again.

The cabin was great and very comfortable for two people. Since it’s on a farm it was the perfect place to see the northern lights. He gave clear instructions how to get to his property because the gps didn’t recognize the road. It is a gravel road, but I had no problem in a small two wheel drive car in late winter.

it was amazing there. Unfortunately we did not see Agust, but his daughter Manye and the Volentier Guys are fantastic! They were so friendly and helpfull! They also showed us the little lambs, cows and the horses and they are absolutely great with the animals and take care of them day and night. It was a pleasure to meet them and we felt like Home ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful view and quiet surroundings - it was a perfect cabin getaway feel. The house is only a quick drive to the nearest restaurants / small town :) Loved our stay here!

Gunnar is a really nice host and the airbnb is super cute. I recommend staying there!

Cabaña idílica con unas vistas bonitas. Se adecúa a la descripción del anuncio, contando con todo lo necesario. El anfitrión atento y responde rápidamente a los mensajes. Se encuentra cerca del pueblo y tiene de todo cerca. Volvería sin duda y la recomiendo 100%.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist gut und praktisch eingerichtet und auch mit 5 Personen sehr gut nutzbar. Der Ausblick ist ein absoluter Traum!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! :) It was such a cozy, peaceful spot and perfect to come back to and relax after a day of exploring. Really close to gas, groceries, and places to eat. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area!

My husband, 4 year old, and I loved our stay at this little cabin. It was central to all the attractions we wanted to visit in the South Coast, had stunning surroundings, and watching the horses was a major bonus!! Inside it was small (obviously), but not cramped thanks to clever room layout and thoughtful touches. Very cozy and welcoming, and the washer & dryer were a real life saver in the last half of our trip!

Incredible property on a farm in South Iceland. The hosts were so welcoming, and the home was in one of the most beautiful locations we had ever stayed in. There is a canyon behind the property that you can hike into and see the farm animals on the drive in. Incredible restaurant right next to the property as well, with mountains in the background. We are definitely planning on staying here again!

We very much enjoyed our stay! The apartment was nice and comfortable. The hostess was very nice and hospitable.

Eydis accomodation was perfect for our day trips. It was very welcoming. She communicated well and gives immediate responses. The instructions were clear as well. The place was clean. Perfect size for three adults. The bed was comfortable especially after a long day of walking. It was warm and cozy. The bathroom has the basic shower necessities, like bath gel, shampoo and conditioner. Highly recommended :)

Lovely cottage, very cosy and well suited for a family of 5! Limited kitchen equipment in the cottage (althoughenough for us to havedinnerand breakfast), but you can access more in the central house, which is very easily accessible. The immediate surroundings are really beautiful.

The cabin was very cozy and perfect for a night or two away, no light pollution and despite having nearby cabins, it felt like we were the only ones there. It was in pristine condition and had sustainable, luxury toiletries too! But the real selling point was of course the horses - yes there were only 2, and of course they can’t come inside / right by the door like some previous guests clearly expected…but they were adorable: fuzzy, curious, and very friendly. I had the best time staying with them, they were outside to say good night and good morning to, were keen for good pets, and even gave kisses. I would’ve loved if their names were included in the check-in materials, but that was the only fault of the whole experience. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
