Enter into a double-height living room with exposed wood ceiling, open king-bed sleeping loft above and fully-stocked kitchenette below. There is a second bedroom and bathroom on the ground level. Your hosts are vintage sci-fi fans and artists, with influences and work throughout the place. Hello and welcome to Bluebird Cottage. We are located 1 mile up a dirt road in the Isabella Highlands overlooking Lake Isabella. Our road is bumpy in and steep in areas, but we have never had a guest not make it up here. We are approximately a 3 hour Drive to Sequoia National Park. We are a 2 hour drive from Death Valley National Park. We are a 4 hour drive from Yosemite. We are 3 hr drive from Los Angeles. Bluebird Cottage is a cozy tiny home with a private outdoor space. Incredible views!

This rustic bungalow was built during the Kern County mid-century modern architectural boom of the 1960's, with the most well known being the Frank Lloyd Wright Albin Residence in Bakersfield. Design-wise, this translated into homes that emphasized geometrical forms, angular features, and large windows to help bring the outdoors inside. Located only 10 minutes to Miracle Hot Springs and the Kern River, come enjoy the serenity this architectural marvel has to offer!

Juniper Point Airbnb’s were established in 2017, making us the original Airbnb experience on Juniper Point. Our community is small, private, and home to only a handful of residents- each blessed with stunning lake and mountain views, but very few with direct beach access. That’s what makes us different. At Juniper Point, you’re not just near the water- you’re steps away from it. Our standards have set the benchmark for the area and are often imitated, but never matched. 🦉
