Cozy Farmstead Cottage Getaway

The cottage is located on our 80 acre farmstead in the bucolic rolling hills of Western Wisconsin just over an hour from the Twin Cities. Relax, create, or dream in this peaceful setting. Cherish time with loved ones. Hike along the creek, woodlands and fields. Enjoy the plentiful birds and wildlife. Bring your bike in the summer, and snow shoes in the winter. Cozy up to the wood stove with a hot beverage. Work remotely with our high speed WiFi. We welcome up to two dogs for an additional fee.

The Timberjack

Although it's a rustic homage to the lumberjacks and jills of yesteryear, this cabin includes many of the comforts we now enjoy including a queen bed, kitchenette with fridge, hot water, AC/heat, a Keurig coffeemaker, smart TV and charcoal grill. The Timberjack is surrounded by trees right on Lake Hayward and close to downtown Hayward. Launch your canoe just steps from the cabin, walk into town for lunch, or go hiking or skiing on the nearby trails, this cabin is nestled in the ideal location!

Nordic Lake Cabin : Sauna/Hot Tub/Pontoon Rental

We finished building this modern Scandinavian cabin in spring 2020. It’s been featured in Vogue and on Magnolia Network. The cabin sits at the end of the road on a private lot with a perfect view of sunsets over the nature side of the lake. Drive past farm fields, into the woods, and onto our private gravel road, arriving at the driveway. Watch loons, tundra swans, eagles, beavers and deer while you relax by the lake. Pontoon boat rental is available as an add on! Pets welcome for a $90 fee!

Hunt Hill's Rustic Log Cabin

Welcome to Hunt Hill Nature Center! We are a public, non-profit learning center and nature sanctuary. Our historic Log Cabin is nearly a century old and offers a peaceful retreat in the woods. All the furniture was updated in 2018. The Log Cabin is located just outside of the main camp, settled on top of a hill overlooking pristine forest habitat. Nearby towns offer additional entertainment or relax in our quiet setting while reading a good book in front of the stone fireplace.

Birchwood Blue Cabin- Come to the Wild Blue

Experience the forest of NW Wisconsin at our cozy cabin situated on 40 acres of forest with 2 meadows & a small stream. (The cabin has an open floor plan, so no actual bedrooms, sleeping spaces in the loft are separated by a closet wall). Hike through gently rolling hills of oak, maple & evergreen stands... or just sit still and let nature rejuvenate you. Unplug and Unwind. (We are dog friendly &welcome well behaved dogs, let us know if you plan to bring your dog/s.

Yurt-Style Tent at Stone Creek Farm

1 of 4 campsites on the farm, this yurt-style tent has all you need to enjoy camping without the work! The campsite includes a picnic table, BBQ grill and fire pit. There is a self composting toilet on site. Camp carts available to bring gear out. Drinking water is available from the hose out by the high tunnel. It is about a quarter mile walk to the site. Relax in this cozy, newly remodeled, lakefront cabin. This north woods themed cabin is perfect for a couple looking for a weekend or week-long getaway. The cabin includes a fully stocked kitchen, a 3/4 bathroom and a separate living area. Relax outside on the attached, covered deck or walk 30 feet to your own dock. Bring your boat and enjoy all that the Chetek Chain of Lakes has to offer. Or rent one of our pontoons by the hour or by the day.

Lakefront Sunset Cabin w/Boats, Spa, FirePit & BBQ

Extraordinary lakefront home, private lake access! Bring your own boat, or use one of ours! Relax on the screened-in patio while watching lake wildlife. BBQ on our charcoal grill, then enjoy a game of cornhole or SpikeBall near the lakeside firepit. Cast a line for great fishing right out front, or push the boats in the water and explore Birch Lake. After a full day, wind down in the hot tub - which is available for you to enjoy year round!
