Hazels Hut

Get away from it all in a cosy shepherd’s hut amongst trees in a beautiful rural location. Hazels Hut has a comfortable double bed, storage below and a compact kitchen unit with double gas hob, sink and fridge, pots, pans crockery and cutlery. Keep warm with a wood-burner and ready supply of wood, or underfloor heating. Outside, there is a table for al-fresco dining. A newly built, heated, shower room is close by along a short path adjacent to the hut. Just 3 miles from Newent and various pubs.

Accessed by its own gated lane and set in a private paddock, "Oliveduck Hut" is the perfect retreat for couples, or singles who prefer their own company. An ideal ‘base camp’ as you explore the National Park and surrounding area. Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

Breathtaking views.Inside you will find the Herdwick Hut has beautiful finishing's and incorporates a double bed a hob, sink, fridge and en-suite bathroom. Nestled on the fringes of mature woodland on a small working farm, the hut is secluded with open views over the breathtaking Dulas Valley in rural Herefordshire. Relax in the private outside area, with charcoal barbeque, hammock and fire pit, and explore local walks, pubs, market towns and historical sites. Dogs are welcome. The location is great for walking, fishing, cycling or those wishing to paint. For star gazers we have plenty of dark nights. Explore quiet country lanes and those looking for more adventure walk the Cat's Back near Hay or Pen y Fan in South Wales. The Forest of Dean, Wye Valley and Malvern Hills/Show ground are a forty minute drive away.

This hut is super cosy, but very well equipped and spacious inside (think tardis!). Guests say it is very comfortable, and it is all fully plumbed in. Everything you need. With stunning views of the Welsh Black Mountains, it sits nestled in a calming wildflower meadow with lots of wildlife - you might wake to see deer passing your window. Sadly, not suitable for dogs, young children or infants.
